There won't be charging for different contents. But I'm sure that intelligence services will use it to control much more.
dylanciccone_
AT&T is already beginning to throttle sites. I can't even access YouTube without it loading like it's AOL circa 2000.

No. They’re rules within the FCC. Not laws. The good thing is that as soon as a Democrat is in office (which is inevitable), he or she will appoint someone left leaning to lead the FCC and all the rules will simply be put back into place. ULIZOS
Also, I would shrug if this happened and there really was a free market. But the vast majority of Americans literally have no choice as to who their internet service provider is. It’s one of the few industries in the US that is basically run like a monopoly. If your internet provider decides they want to slow down your access to YouTube by 90% you’re literally FUCKED because you have no one else to turn to. How in the world does all of this promote competitiveness and create jobs?

It's about giving internet providers more power over what you can and cannot access, and how fast you can access such sites. THAT'S the terrifying and infuriating part. Worried about “internet” having more power about what you & cannot view. Think it should be all left to the individuals to decide for themselves & not be left to unknown bureaucrats or employees in some commission.
