Women accused of being WITCHES are tied to a tree and cruelly beaten alongside their husbands by Indian villagers

  • Hundreds of spectators gathered to watch five women being lashed in woods
  • They were thrashed with branches for allegedly practicing witchcraft in India
  • Victims were unable to defend themselves because they were bound to a tree
  • Incident happened in Madhupur village in Badasahi block of Mayurbhanj district

It really is sad, what kind of position women in India have.

It seems to be, they dont have any rights, either they being raped by a gang of cruel monsters, or killed of honor destroying

or being witches.

It has to be done something there to enlighten the people, to make them sure women have rights and shouldnt be seen as (sex)

objects.

Though it seems very hard, since they have a very complicated socail system

Feel very sorry for them There’s still this superstitious crap in the world where women, old people, children, and all different type of outcasts get branded with accusations of witchcraft and even satanism. Similar to this situation they wind up getting tortured and sometimes killed. :imsad: Don’t know how the international communities can help fight these reoccurrences because they’re deeply embedded in some cultures.
