I think she will release her lead in December 2017, I have a feeling about it that she will tour in 2018 summer to 2019 spring.

I am secretly hoping all this film talk is just to throw us off and she is secretly working on new music. She'll surprise us all with a release around her 60th birthday and travel the world on a record breaking tour.

I know this isn't true but a boy can dream.

not sure about a successful stadium tour at this point, she has toured so much in the last ten year that a lot of people have seen her more than once. And while she definitely puts a different show worth seeing each time, a casual ticket buyer might not be interested in seeing her every few years, I think she has over-saturated the market a bit, and that's why her tour gross has been getting smaller and smaller with each tour recently.

Her safest bet is an arena tour with a few stadiums in the biggest markets.

I think that the new album will come out between November 2018 - March 2019 and the new tour will start around May-August 2019.

when she visited Athens with Sticky and sweet tour she attracted 80k people ,most of them were dissapointed by the setlist .Even if she promises a GH tour i'm afraid she won't fill half of the stadium

she won't come here anytime soon, she knows people can barely pay their biils, let alone tickets

I. SACRILEGE

Inspired by Madonna's youth, her catholic upbringing and the death of her mother.

  1. Act of Contrition - Like a Prayer

  2. Like a Virgin - Justify My Love (with samples from "Whole Lotta Love")

  3. Papa Don't Preach

  4. Oh Father

  5. Beautiful Stranger (Interlude)

II. NYC

Inspired by Madonna's beginning in NYC. Her meeting Mark Kamins and Steve Bray, performing at nightclubs, etc. This section will be have a neo-80's vibe. Kind of futuristic but still very throwback 80's.

  1. Everybody - Music (with samples from "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life")

  2. Lucky Star - Impressive Instant (with samples from "Get Together")

  3. Into the Groove (with samples from "Bitch, I'm Madonna")

  4. Hung Up

  5. Nobody Knows Me (Interlude)

III. SHOWGIRL

Inspired by Madonna's rise to fame, superstardom and the very first backlash. It also higlights her strong affiliation with the LGBTQ community. This section will have a cabaret/burlesque feel to it. Kind of like fetish club meets Moulin Rouge.

  1. Material Girl - Hollywood

  2. Vogue (with samples from "It Takes Two")

  3. Erotica - Deeper and Deeper - Girl Gone Wild

  4. Bad Girl / Secret / Live to Tell (Jazz Ballad Version, Madonna sitting on a large piano)

  5. Nothing Really Matters (Interlude)

IV. DIA DE LOS MUERTOS

Inspired by Madonna's career revival, her comeback, her failed marriages, motherhood and finding inner peace and redemption through her belief. This section will start of dark and will go brighter as it progresses. It's a representation of resurrection, a juxtaposition between life and death.

  1. Frozen

  2. Living for Love

  3. Rain / Take a Bow / The Power of Good-Bye / You'll See / I'll Remember / Cherish (Acoustic)

  4. Ray of Light (Ballad Intro leads into Uptempo Mix)

  5. La Isla Bonita - Holiday

  6. What It Feels Like for a Girl (Interlude)

V. AMERICAN REBEL

Madonna NOW. Fighting against injustice, sexism, ageism, racism, etc. This section will go from having a more military vibe to a sort of Americana theme for the encore.

  1. American Life (with samples from "The Star-Spangled Banner")

  2. Sorry (with samples from "Human Nature")

  3. Die Another Day - 4 Minutes - Give It 2 Me (with samples from "Papa Don't Preach")

  4. Don't Tell Me

  5. Express Yourself

Hm, this seems suspiciously like the autobiographical greatest hits set I posted on here last year ...

Here's an update on that idea -- each act is inspired by a formative part of M's life. I'll call it in the Ciccone Tour :confessions:

  • Act I: Michigan
Inspired by: The death of her mother, her father's strict rules, meeting Christopher Flynn, going gay clubs, quitting school
    • Act of Contrition (video intro)
    • Like a Prayer
    • What it Feels like for a Girl
    • Hung Up
    • Papa Don't Preach
  • Act II: New York
Inspired by: late-70s / early-80s New York, Keith Haring, Alvin Ailey, pre-fame poverty, lust for the spotlight
    • Holiday (disco remix / dance interlude)
    • Burning Up / Bitch I'm Madonna (mash-up)
    • Material Girl (mid-tempo mix)
    • Open Your Heart
    • Live to Tell
  • Act III: Fame and Backlash
Inspired by: Megastardom, and SEX backlash
    • Like a Virgin (remix / interlude)
    • Into the Groove
    • Express Yourself
    • Vogue
    • Justify my Love / Erotica (mash-up)
    • This Used to be my Playground
  • Act IV: Comeback
    Inspired by: Motherhood, career comeback
    • Ray of Light
    • Secret (remix)
    • Beautiful Stranger
    • I'll Remember
    • Frozen (acoustic)
  • Act V: After Party
Inspired by: Continued 2000s and 2010s dominance
    • Music
    • Get Together
    • Everybody
    • Deeper and Deeper
    • Give it 2 Me
  • ENCORE
    • Don't Tell Me (remix)

Well, it's basically the only song on "Hard Candy" that anyone would know, unless she tries dancing with a hologram Justin :zombie:

Madonna stadium dates should only be selected for filming purposes only. Outside of that everything else should be arenas. Also, I wouldn't mind a smaller tour not in promotion of an album exclusively devoted to album tracks and b-sides. She can go esoteric as fuck with the set list and themes. Play less venues exclusive to Europe and the US.
