I always wanted it 2 b in the style of The Ziggy Stardust 30th anniversary edition...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DAVID-BOWIE-Ziggy-Stardust-30th-Anniversary-CD-Brand-New-/182457491032

I don't want it tarnished with remixes or extra tracks on the actual first disc that would b the album remaster.

That should b a rule, so we need alternate takes, outtakes & rough mixes on disc + Supernatural.

Yes I don't like having those extended mixes on the first 3 remasters. All extra content on a separate disk.

WHAT A WORLD when Nick Kamen, Sam Fox and Bananarama get better treatment than the QUEEN OF ALL MUSIC.

Ideally there would be multiple versions:

Standard Reissue - 1 CD: original album (remastered) + selection of remixes and outtakes

Lavender coloured vinyl reissue - 1LP (scented)

Deluxe Edition - 3 CDs:
CD1: original album (remastered)
CD2: reasonably comprehensive demos, outtakes, B-sides
CD3: remixes (original '89-'90 remixes, plus a selection of new commissioned remixes)

Super Deluxe Edition - 3 CDs + 1 DVD
CD1: original album (remastered)
CD2: demos, outtakes, B-sides
CD3: remixes
DVD: promo videos + interviews with Madonna, Leonard, Bray and Pettibone + "Express Yourself" from MTV Awards

Collectors' Edition Box - 1 vinyl + 4 CDs + 1DVD (individually numbered, limited to 10,000 copies)
CD1: original album (remastered)
CD2: demos, outtakes, B-sides
CD3: remixes (comprehensive, with new selections as well)
CD4: Remixed Prayers EP (remastered)
DVD: promo videos + interviews with Madonna, Leonard, Bray and Pettibone + "Express Yourself" from MTV Awards
Vinyl reissue (scented)

We Will probably get the Hard Candy 10th anniversary set instead with 10 remixes of Candy Shop and she will tour to promote them all.

Judging from the Fleetwood Mac box sets, the standard deluxe edition would be 2CD instead of 3CD, meaning you'd have to get the super deluxe to get that 3rd CD of remixes and the DVD.

Neither do I!!!!

Just because you are a super fan may want all this stuff doesn't mean there are a huge number of people who do, certainly not enough to justify all the time and money it would take to put all this together. Some people here don't live in reality!

Ok, can we all as a community come together to agree about one thing though:

"Vinyl reissue (scented)"

This is a MUST! If we are persistent we have the power to make this happen. We need to reach out on social media for more reach and momentum.

Yes, less talk and more action.

And no believing Oseary when he trots out the lie about "setting up a meeting with WB" (to shut everyone up like he did years ago about the tour DVDs never to be mentioned again)

I would absolutely buy one of those! Would be amazing to have a similar release for everyone of her albums.

To be honest, it really wouldn't cost that much. I do product development for packaging and promotional material and you'd be surprised how little it costs vs. the profit gained through sales.

hell, i would even settle for vinyl and a book! imagine a beautiful Like A Prayer book that resembles a * with a rosary and hand written lyrics commentary old articles outtakes why she chose the singles she did why she made the videos etc, and of course a bonus Blond Ambition bluray/DVD tucked in :p

So many beautiful ideas!!!!  To get noticed one of the most important albums in music history.  A legacy that is far,  far more than a t-shirt and a post in instagram.

If she were to have LAP remastered, she would have Demo do it. So, it's best to not have a remaster. lol
