Yup unless they do a 360 (*quality Pine Soil fresh clean youthful candidate and MESSAGE...like asap!) which they are still NOT doing, it'll the sequel to their botched, lazy, garbage 2016 'strategy'. US is a country where the typical citizen has next to no attention span, easily desensitized and dumb down yet stick with what they 'know' even if it's Trump. If there's no major market crash, recession and/or something that actually is 10x worse than the Access Hollywood tape. Yes, where they do show him pissing or visa versa while dropping the N word w/ underage Russian girls in the mix he'd prob lose PA and maybe one or 2 rust belt purple states...enough for the Dem to barely win :# lol He aint losing places like Indiana, Ohio and the like and esp its inbred sister and brother southern states.

Exactly. And they need to finally fight as hard and dirty as the opponent. They need to go for the jugular. the time of "if they go low, we go high" is over. The Democrats should watch the documentary "Get me Roger Stone" in order to understand that playing PC and graciously will not lead them anywhere.

He just deflects all the time like a spoilt child who is caught out. It is either "fake news" or he brings up Clinton or Obama. So pathetic, childish and shows his guilt as people who deflect continually are liars.

Right. Exactly.

They're such a mess right now. They don't take an iota of responsibility for their losses. It's Russia. It's Hillary. It's Pelosi. It's Deplorables.

No, it's you fuckers. It's your constant focus on identity politics, on race, on issues that marginalize the large swath of America that WANT to vote for Dems, but they can't look past the fact that there's a national party who BACKS a movement that blocks an expressway, with innocent people, to get a message across. Bullshit.

Democrats have literally given up on Unions, on the working class, on anyone and everyone who trudges through to make a living. And it shows in their electoral disaster.

Agree.  I love me some Michelle Obama but going high is not working.  Over Dems fighting back like pansies while Republicans fight as shameless and ruthless as they want.  That's why the outrage toward Kathy from Dems was so pathetic in my eyes.  She should have taken a dump on the foam head also if you ask me.

Neil Gorsuch reveals his true anti-LGBTQ self

Donald Trump’s judge is doling out Mike Pence’s justice.

During the confirmation process for Neil Gorsuch, who currently occupies a seat on the Supreme Court that Republicans held open for more than a year until Donald Trump could fill it, the New York Times ran a piece headlined “Gorsuch Not Easy to Pigeonhole on Gay Rights, Friends Say.”

After Monday, those friends look pretty foolish.

The Supreme Court took two actions Monday morning that provide a fairly clear window into how Gorsuch will handle claims alleging discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

First, the Court announced that it will hear Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission, a case brought by a baker who claims that religion gives anti-LGBTQ business owners the right to ignore civil rights laws.

We cannot know for sure whether Gorsuch voted to take up this case — but it is notable that the Court decided not to consider this issue when Justice Antonin Scalia was still alive. Gorsuch now occupies Scalia’s seat.

Second, the Court reversed an Arkansas Supreme Court decision permitting the state to engage in a subtle form of discrimination against same-sex couples. Gorsuch criticized the majority’s decision striking down Arkansas’s practice, relying on a narrow interpretation of the Supreme Court’s landmark marriage equality decision in Obergefell v. Hodges.

Pavan v. Smith involved an unusual Arkansas law providing that, when a child is born to woman married to a man, “f the mother was married at the time of either conception or birth . . . the name of [her] husband shall be entered on the certificate as the father of the child.” But under this law, when a child is born to someone in a same-sex marriage, the state does not automatically list the mother’s spouse as a co-parent.

For example, if a woman in an opposite-sex couple is artificially inseminated, her husband will be listed as the child’s parent. But if a lesbian woman is artificially inseminated, her wife will not automatically be listed as the child’s parent. According to the decision, this regime violates Obergefell’s holding that “the Constitution entitles same-sex couples to civil marriage ‘on the same terms and conditions as opposite-sex couples.’”

Gorsuch’s dissent labels this conclusion “overbroad,” and suggests that the Arkansas regime can be justified because it “establishes a set of rules designed to ensure that the biological parents of a child are listed on the child’s birth certificate.” However, the Arkansas rule applies even to married opposite-sex couples even if the couple is fully aware that the mother’s husband is not the child’s biological father.

Notably, even Chief Justice John Roberts, who dissented in Obergefell, joined the majority in Pavan.

Taken together, these two cases suggest Gorsuch will join the Court’s rightmost faction in matters relating to LGBTQ rights.

My biggest fear about Trump winning was the courts.  Now rumors another justice getting set to retire.  Ruth better hold the fuck on.

Its strange that most of the progress in the later years in USA was due to the Supreme Court, but it seems the progress would stop or even reverse if it is filled with Conservative people.

Could a nasty tweet trigger the beginning of the end for Trump? My oh my everybody's losing their head over it. Should that mean Trump will be banned from Twitter for his own good? I thought they had already tried that one.

Funny how Americans feel so strongly about this when Trump said far worse things against some minorities in the US. But minorities aren't celebs so why bother?

How low can society go when the President of the most powerful country in the World is tweeting garbage like this.  It is like a bad nightmare.

The way Trump is also continually talking of fake news to discredit journalism gets more dangerous every day.   He basically thinks he can lie and do whatever he wants and if he gets exposed, he just trots out the fake news catch phrase.

As an American going from a President who was one of the best statesman we ever had to this literal psycho clown is a total embarrassment.
