The first time I saw her live and this was the opening. Incredible.

Everything I want from a Madonna live performance, the Klein visuals, the Gaultier costumes, the incredible dancers, the nod to Donna Summer, Stuart Price production, Equestrian theme and MADONNA ARRIVING OUT OF A MASSIVE FUCKING GLITTERBALL!!! Squeel.

Future Lovers remains my favorite from Confessions. Of course Mirwais produced it.

Wish I could've seen this live. That intro is everything!

Does anyone have a link to the video of her getting in the disco ball from under the stage? Always found that so interesting.

Agreed. I remember being able to feel the vibrations from the sound of the horse running in the background video. I felt it through the ground and still remember how loud the audience got when the disco ball dropped down. Definitely the best intro of any of her shows and they're all pretty great, to be honest.

This is one of my most vivid memories from seeing the tour as well!

It was breath taking. She's so good at setting a "mood" for all her shows. I loved that dark and spacey Drowned World opening. The Re-Invantion opening with The Beast Within video on the moving large screens was amazing. Sticky & Sweet was beautiful. MDNA was so spiritual. Rebel Heart was so powerful. She really knows how to kick off a show. But the entry of the mirror ball for Confessions was brilliant. It reminded me of the part of Girlie Show (which I did not see in person because I was 10 😢😢😢) when she came down sitting on top of the mirror ball for Express Yourself.

Those were the best!

I also got the sensation that when the disco ball was dropping everybody wanted to touch it to be able to feel her, it was a worshipping sensation!

I also remember the general gasp when the cross started to come up, it was shocking! I was on the fourth show so I only had seen pics but absolutely no video.

Yes!!!!!! The crowd lost their minds when the disco ball came down, but when it opened, WOW, I don't know if I've ever heard anything that loud.

The cross was AWESOME. Also a super loud crowd moment. Loved it!!! 💗💗💗💗💗

Me too. Considering she literally rode a disco mirror ball down during Girlie Show, I thought for sure she was inside for Confessions.

I still can't believe she did that without a safety belt-strap...

Probably the best moment captured in a film: "Would you like to try..?"

This is one of my favourite 'bootlegs'. The dancers look like black silhouettes
And it is the only vid that captures her in front of the backdrop completely....

Isn't that from the close ups they filmed later on though? Without an audience.

Not sure. Either way, it's beautiful in the film!
