Love a lot of Bruce's songs.  He is a great performer, song writer and always has been as sexy as hell.

Dancing in the Dark,  The River, I'm on Fire, Born to Run, Brilliant Disguise, Glory Days - such great songs that have stood the test of time.

I'm a casual Springsteen fan, but the songs I enjoy from him, I absolutely love. Streets of Philadelphia is one of the most gorgeous gongs ever. And Dancing In The Dark will get me moving no matter where I hear it. Hungry Heart and Thunder Road are two of my other faves.

I was in HMV this morning and decided to buy his "Born in the USA" album. My father used to have it on vinyl in the 80's but I'd forgotten how much I loved it.

"Born In The USA", "Cover Me", "Darlington County", "Downbound Train", "I'm on Fire", "Glory Days", "Dancing in the Dark". :inlove:

Love it.

The first minute reminds me of "Papa Don't Preach" where Madonna went to visit her boyfriend working in the Garage.

Talented,  intelligent, great musician,  sincere,  great organic tours.

He has no songs in the Radio,  no charts except first couple of weeks releasing albums.  And he does the music he loves.  His fanbase is big.  That's how music should be.

Tho the 80s were already extremely superficial, you still had to deliver as an entertainer and offer something unique, have charisma and star quality. Of course there were a lot of short term turds in the charts but dominating the global music scene they did not. Today it's a total different story...
