I can't get over how fascinating this song is

Who else is in love with this track? :inlove: I feel like it's one of those songs where listening really becomes an experience! It's like M is taking you on a journey...I always drift away listening to it. Such a relaxing song, yet there's something mystical to it as well. And isn't the chorus beautiful?

I would love an entire album of Madonna surrounded by this much bass...   anthemic and tumultuous... pandemic while private... lament and celebration seemlessly joined... Madonna seems to be swirling around in the catastrophe of a new birth...  M blew me away with this "soundtrack of my life" contribution.  Sky Fits Heaven is life....

Agree Nonoka, it is fascinating.  One of my absolute favourite songs from Ray of Light and love the pulsating backing.  Love the combination of how different this is while still having a classic melody.

One of the few ROL tracks that I return to now for repeat listens. Brilliance!

It's hypnotic. It's comforting, melancholy, and uplifting. The song is 4:48 minutes long, yet it truly feels to last for an hour. Each and every time I listen to it, I'm taken on the journey I feel she wanted the listener to be on.

Easily in my top 10 songs of hers of all time. Absolutely gorgeous.

With every listen I have wondered what is my path, what are the signs I should be paying attention to, and what is my heart telling me?

Every single time I've listened:

Traveling down this road
Watching the signs as I go
I think I'll follow the sun
Isn't everyone just
Traveling down their own road
Watching the signs as they go
I think I'll follow my heart
It's a very good place to start

It's her third best track EVER after LAP and Frozen.

It's really fascinating!

Thrilling arrangement and wonderful lyrics.

Love that the verses have this kind of hard and industrial production and when the chorus kicks in, it gets soft and colorful.

Single-worthy. That chorus is SO, so good.
DW/SFL and Sky fits heaven are my favourite Ray of Light tracks.

It has been my favorite song on ROL for so many years. Still one of my fav. God how I love it. Everything is perfect about it: beat, lyrics, voice... :inlove:

Weren't the lyrics inspired by a Gap advert?

Great song although I preferred Skin.

Amazing amazing song.  I cried the first time I heard the chorus, I was just so overwhelmed by how beautiful it was. Ugh, what I wouldn't give to hear that album again for the first time.  I remember sitting in my bedroom with the lyric booklet, volume on full blast, totally immersed in it.  It was an experience like no other.
