Pud, I've never said she was perfect. I've never hailed her a saint and trust me I don't even like her that much. But I did watch those tv debates and she did apologise for the wrong things she said and done. Now wasn't she sincere? Maybe not but in the long run the US wouldn't be in a state of uncertainty as it is now. A lot of people belonging to minority groups are actually very worried about what's going to happen to them. I don't think it's nice when a potential president bases  his entire campaign diminishing minorities giving a sense of power and entitlement to people who yes are homophobic yes are sexist yes are racist.. I'm sorry but that's exactly what I saw. Now I'm not saying we have to hate those people or even judge them.. but still how can we make them see their views are prehistoric? How can we make them understand that it's diversity that made America great and appealing to so many people in the whole world? How can we show them that it's unity and not separation and division that can bring the country together and make it prosper? How can we teach them that it's acceptance and dialogue the only way to form a true democracy and freedom and not restriction can give sense to it.

I have enough love for each and one person who voted for Trump but do I respect them? Do I agree with them? No.. If anything I'm frustrated that we are where we are in this time.. as if we haven't learned anything from humanity past mistakes. It's sad more than anything.

Didnt Bush attack Iraq and started it, not Hillary and Obama? And you really think Trump will be better? He just named a man in his cabinet who wants to invade and bomb IRAN to the ground, for gods sake.

Who? If you're referring to James Mattis, then you're talking out of your ass.

Spazz you do talk like a Trump supporter (which is kind of embarrassing): it's the US liberal media! It's the Zionist elite that controls the world! I fear next thing  you're going to say is that Hitler was right killing the Jews or the US media is turning all men gay. Really?

Besides, you can dismiss any media at this point... if you think that the media in democratic countries are pushing their own agenda why would I even listen to the media fabricated in countries with so little democracy? It's just a case of calling the pot black.

I'm not a Trump supporter but I find him naive & harmless.

youre acting as if he will turn US upside down and make it a shithole.

Obama made it a bad reputation country , its time for Trump to wipe all his shit and become friendly with other countries.

your media is not liberal it worships ISIS/Daech and this fucking Obama never say a negative word about ISLAMIC RADICALISM. His twatiness about this issue is disturbing.

Like it or not TRUMP is your president & a fairly elected candidate while Hilary crawls from hell and doesn't accept her fatal failure. This is democracy which USA is shoving to us.

Sorry @spazz you are naive. Higher oil prices = Failure as a president in the U.S. Do you REALLY think that man is going to do the right thing and risk his popularity or even worse, sending the country into another massive recession? All Saudi Arabia and the gulf states have to do is say they're going to double oil production (they just agreed to cut production which greatly benefits the U.S. that's why everything is going so swell for them) and it would send the global markets into chaos.

Sarah Palin Slams Donald Trump’s Carrier Deal as ‘Crony Capitalism’

“Republicans oppose this sinfully stupid practice, remember?” she reminded the president-elect.

Mary Papenfuss Trends reporter, The Huffington Post

Tea party standard-bearer Sarah Palin, under consideration to join Donald Trump’s cabinet, has just blasted the tax deal the president-elect negotiated with Carrier, condemning it as “crony capitalism.”

Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence helped arrange $7 million in Indiana tax breaks over 10 years for Carrier in exchange for the company’s promise to keep about 800 of 1,400 jobs in the U.S. instead of moving them to Mexico. In addition, Trump threatened to impose a stiff tariff on Carrier products if they sent all of the work across the border.

“Republicans oppose this, remember?” Palin wrote in an op-ed Friday on the Young Conservatives website. “Instead, we support competition on a level playing field, remember? Because we know special interest crony capitalism is one big fail.

“A business must have freedom to locate where it wishes,” the piece continued. “In a free market, if a business makes a mistake (including a marketing mistake that perhaps Carrier executives made), threatening to move elsewhere claiming efficiency’s sake, then the market’s invisible hand punishes. Thankfully, that same hand rewards, based on good business decisions.”

She warned that “picking and choosing” which company darlings receive “corporate welfare” is a “hallmark of corruption” and “socialism.”

A “$20 trillion debt-ridden country can’t afford this sinfully stupid practice, so vigilantly guard against its continuance, or we’re doomed,” she urged.

Palin left wiggle room in the piece for Trump to redeem himself. “Gotta have faith that the Trump team knows all of this,” she wrote hopefully, and promised to be the first to dismiss concerns if details of the deal prove her wrong once they’re publicly released.

In a bit of cognitive dissonance, Palin also said she was “ecstatic” for Carrier workers. “What a relief for hundreds of workers. Merry Christmas Indiana!” she gushed.

Palin is hardly the only “free market” Republican disturbed by the deal. The Wall Street Journal issued its own op-ed Thursday called “Trump’s Carrier Shakedown” noting that real job security depends on a company’s strength in the marketplace.

“If the extra costs of staying in Indianapolis erode that business, those workers will lose their jobs eventually in any case,” the Journal warned, adding: “Workers don’t prosper when politicians force companies to make noneconomic decisions.”

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has also attacked Trump’s deal, saying it signals to corporations that they can get significant tax breaks as long as they threaten to export jobs.

Despite the deal, Carrier is still shifting some production to Mexico, and at least 600 Carrier positions will be cut. Carrier’s parent company, United Technologies, will also move ahead with closing a separate Indiana plant and laying off 700 workers.

The union at the Carrier factory was cut out of negotiations to save their jobs, Chuck Jones, president of the local chapter of the United Steelworkers union that represents the plant, told The Huffington Post.

There was no immediate reaction from Trump on the criticisms from Palin or the Journal.

He has touted the deal and this week did a victory tour of the Indianapolis factory.

Although I don't like Trumps Carrier deal either, the assertion that he'd revoke government contracts if they left is perfectly valid imo. The American government is a customer and like any customer who doesn't like the company, for whatever reason, has a right not to "shop" there. They can take their business elsewhere. That's economics right? That's what these corporate 'tards reply with every time they fuck over the common worker. It's economics.

When that Secretary of Treasury fucker is trying to get through his confirmation, I'll be joining the libs and SJWs for the massive protest. He's ripe for the Guillotine, that one. Thank you, Donald, for flushing him out we'll take it from here.

Signed,

A Trump supporter

Um, they didn't choose to keep 1,000 jobs, for the time being, in Indiana because he threatened them with ripping up government contracts. He literally convinced the governor of Indiana to give them 7 million dollars in tax cuts.

That's not economics. It's literally the definition of crony capitalism.

Quote

Crony capitalism is a term describing an economy in which success in business depends on close relationships between business people and government officials. It may be exhibited by favoritism in the distribution of legal permits, government grants, special tax breaks, or other forms of state interventionism.

Not to make people suffer. They just funded those groups for the sole purpose of their agenda, regardless if people suffered the consequences. Sorry to say that, but the Obama administration simply did not care for the mess they helped to create in the middle east. His presidency see this mess as colateral damage. In fact all of this only caught their eyes when ISIS began to slashing americans.

Actually, I agree, except the last part. If you check a timeline, you will see that the advances ISIS was making in Iraq some years ago were being heavily reported in Western media, and NOBODY did anything to stop them, nobody cared, until they were a few miles away from Erbil.

Here is the list of international oil companies with their headquarters in Iraq according to this local government website http://www.iraq-businessnews.com/list-of-international-oil-companies-in-iraqi-kurdistan/

Austria
OMV

Canada
Groundstar Resources
Niko Resources
Shamaran Petroleum
Talisman Energy
Vast Exploration
WesternZagros

China
Addax Petroleum

Hungary
MOL

India
Reliance Industries

Norway
DNO International

Papua New Guinea
Oil Search

Russia
Gazprom

South Korea
Korea National Oil Company

Turkey
Dogan Enerji
Genel Energy
Petoil

United Arab Emirates
Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA)

United Kingdom
Afren
Gulf Keystone Petroleum
Perenco
Sterling Energy

United States
Aspect Energy
Chevron
Hess
Hunt Petroleum
Murphy Oil Corporation

I've said repeatedly anyone who thinks we've invested hundreds of billions of dollars in Iraq and now Syria because their leaders are bad to the bone and were hurting poor innocent people are, in my opinion, stupid.

You think things are going to get better because Trump is in power. Sorry, that's naive thinking. The U.S. will do what it has to do to protect its interests regardless of who's in power.

He already said he has no intention of locking her up. And that video was AFTER she and Obama were done ravaging the middle east while she was in office.

The Muslim Brotherhood has slowly become irrelevant everywhere except Sudan and Palestine way back in 2013 and now you're thanking Trump for that because he won the election but hasn't even been sworn into office yet and Sloane, without even questioning what you're saying, jokingly says you guys won?

Whatever, you and Sloane can celebrate for now and then defend every single promise he breaks for the next 4 - 8 years.

Sloane already defended his stupid ass Carrier deal by saying he (or she?) doesn't like it, but that's just how economics works, right?

That's not against Hillary you are. That's against USA and their allies. Time for you to wake up.
