Guys I'm pissed off too that heinous pig Trump was elected but STOP attacking each other. The mods have had to clean up this thread over and over and over.

Attacking one another will only make things worse. Use ur energy in becoming a proactive member of ur community to bring on change. Don't spread hate.

LGBTQ community this is our call to action where we rise up and not hide in fear that's what they want and I for one will not give them the satisfaction.

Have a question...

Is Trump shitting his pants right now because he knows that he has a job that he doesn't know how to do?

His first promise was: he's going to deport 11 million people.  Let's see how that turns out.

Half of this country is full of morons and bigots, and they all voted for Trump.

I'm done.

I'm really fed up with this place. From people thinking protesting is "stupid" just because we voted democratically (people have a fucking right to disagree with a decision whether enforced by the people or not, on BOTH sides) to criticizing people deeply saddened by the election telling them to "get over it and grow up" and now we have people being insensitive about fucking suicide. This forum had gone down hill man. This is fucking ridiculous.

I rarely visit this section, opened up my eyes about some posters, I wanna throw up

I expect that once he's briefed on the inside stuff from all the White H. specialists, he'll sing a different tune. Besides, whichever president is in there, the ones who really pull their weight are the millionaires and lobbysts.

This is the best (lengthy though) thing I've read today:

I don’t think you understand us right now.

I think you think this is about politics.

I think you believe this is all just sour grapes; the crocodile tears of the losing locker room with the scoreboard going against us at the buzzer.

I can only tell you that you’re wrong. This is not about losing an election. This isn’t about not winning a contest. This is about two very different ways of seeing the world.

Hillary supporters believe in a diverse America; one where religion or skin color or sexual orientation or place of birth aren’t liabilities or deficiencies or moral defects. Her campaign was one of inclusion and connection and interdependency. It was about building bridges and breaking ceilings. It was about going high.

Trump supporters believe in a very selective America; one that is largely white and straight and Christian, and the voting verified this. Donald Trump has never made any assertions otherwise. He ran a campaign of fear and exclusion and isolation—and that’s the vision of the world those who voted for him have endorsed.

They have aligned with the wall-builder and the professed p*ssy-grabber, and they have co-signed his body of work, regardless of the reasons they give for their vote:

Every horrible thing Donald Trump ever said about women or Muslims or people of color has now been validated.
Every profanity-laced press conference and every call to bully protestors and every ignorant diatribe has been endorsed.
Every piece of anti-LGBTQ legislation Mike Pence has championed has been signed-off on.

Half of our country has declared these things acceptable, noble, American.

This is the disconnect and the source of our grief today. It isn’t a political defeat that we’re lamenting, it’s a defeat for Humanity.

We’re not angry that our candidate lost. We’re angry because our candidate’s losing means this country will be less safe, less kind, and less available to a huge segment of its population, and that’s just the truth.

Those who have always felt vulnerable are now left more so. Those whose voices have been silenced will be further quieted. Those who always felt marginalized will be pushed further to the periphery. Those who feared they were seen as inferior now have confirmation in actual percentages.

Those things have essentially been campaign promises of Donald Trump, and so many of our fellow citizens have said this is what they want too.

This has never been about politics.
This is not about one candidate over the other.
It’s not about one’s ideas over another’s.
It is not blue vs. red.
It’s not her emails vs. his bad language.
It’s not her dishonesty vs. his indecency.

It’s about overt racism and hostility toward minorities.
It’s about religion being weaponized.
It’s about crassness and vulgarity and disregard for women.
It’s about a barricaded, militarized, bully nation.
It’s about an unapologetic, open-faced ugliness.

And it is not only that these things have been ratified by our nation that grieve us; all this hatred, fear, racism, bigotry, and intolerance—it’s knowing that these things have been amen-ed by our neighbors, our families, our friends, those we work with and worship alongside. That is the most horrific thing of all. We now know how close this is.

It feels like living in enemy territory being here now, and there’s no way around that. We wake up today in a home we no longer recognize. We are grieving the loss of a place we used to love but no longer do. This may be America today but it is not the America we believe in or recognize or want.

This is not about a difference of political opinion, as that’s far too small to mourn over. It’s about a fundamental difference in how we view the worth of all people—not just those who look or talk or think or vote the way we do.

Grief always laments what might have been, the future we were robbed of, the tomorrow that we won’t get to see, and that is what we walk through today. As a nation we had an opportunity to affirm the beauty of our diversity this day, to choose ideas over sound bytes, to let everyone know they had a place at the table, to be the beacon of goodness and decency we imagine that we are—and we said no.

The Scriptures say that weeping endures for a night but joy comes in the morning. We can’t see that dawn coming any time soon.

And this is why we grieve.

America, your deep-seated misogynistic sensibilities, aversion to critical thinking, and willingness to be brainwashed by the conservative media's propaganda, helped you reclaim the racial superiority that you felt was upended when President Obama was elected, by giving into Fascism. When you say you want to "Make America Great Again", you mean that you want to go back to the time of Reganomics, when corporate welfare and tax breaks for the wealthy were established, which started a 25 year avalanche that led to the recession of 2008? Or when drugs and guns were just a symptom prevalent in inner city minority neighborhoods, and when police brutality was over-looked? Or when anybody suspected of being a communist, was put in jail? Or when we put all Asian Americans in internment camps during WW2 for "our safety?" When minorities "knew our place", and didn't demand equality, political correctness, and couldn't compete for jobs ? Or when our neighborhoods were being burned down by the police and the KKK because we we threatened job security? Or when you could openly kill black people and other minorities without repercussion? Or when the confederate flag was flown in the southern states just so black people always knew their place? Or when women and children were property, and when rape or beating them up wasn't a crime? Or when gay and transgender people weren't considered as equals? Or when we were allowed to kill off Native Americans for profit? America was always great if you are a straight, white man. "Make America White Again," is really what you mean!  You overlooked a qualified person, because she was a woman, for an egomaniac that will only empower corporations to get richer at the expense of polluting our country. Beause someone that doesn't believe in global warming isn't a sound person and won't do anything to pass legislation to protect the environment, so we are royally fucked. Thank you for showing me what patriotism of a "Christian" nation looks like.

Land of the free?!...Home of the brave?!?! Any sense of patriotism I had, is forever shattered.

Def agree with some you said. Unfortunately, some leftists and people who embrace identity politics viciously attack others who tend to be on their side, while embracing an ideology of victimhood. Of course, I don't mean that's everybody. Just from my personal experience it's getting more difficult to engage in discussion where we can strongly disagree without resentment and name calling.

I just don't know what to think. Nobody really knows what Trump will do and that's the scary part. He's unpredictable.

I think protests are great when they are peaceful but I'm scared of what will happen when the two sides clash. I'm afraid the inauguration will be a huge clusterfuck of violence. And if it happens, we all know exactly who will suffer for it. Not him and not his supporters, not when they have control. It'll justify his fearmongering.

Pud was right when he said carrying around an effigy of Trump with a noose around his neck is out of line.

It's barely been 24 hours, he hasn't even done anything yet. So stupid. And this from the same group who were scolding Trump about maybe contesting the election and peaceful transfer of power. Weird.

What 'group' are you talking about lol? It was Trump himself over and over who threatened/intimidated everyone that HE would do that. Did he not say that to Chris Wallace at the 3rd debate or was it crooked Hillary yet again :/ Um..again this is ALL about Trump now. Obama was only able to blame Bush so long. 'Crooked Hillary', Wikileaks, Clinton Foundation, scandals etc...old tired news now. Watch Trump blame Obama/Clinton for every single thing 24/7 the next 4 years regardless of how severe the issues are. He can't even apologize for anything!  Just admit we're fcked in an epic way culturally, spiritually, internationally, etc etc...

And let's not ignore the fact if the winner was based on JUST the votes of the people then she would've won the election. The people spoke yesterday and they're speaking today.....and hopefully indefinitely.

One thing I've learned with this election is that people are incredibly fucking stupid. Practically anyone can say anything and it becomes fact without any "receipts" necessary. Let's start spreading Trump's word that the election is rigged. WIth that statement repeated, he was TELLING us this whole time what his plan was!! He bought/cheated this completely. Oh....but he's Mr. Anti-establishment....fuck off morons.

Isn't it all more than a little fishy at all that he made those sinister comments the whole time about it being rigged and how if he doesn't win it's all a waste of time? Isn't it just a tad shady that this man was legitimately ahead in the polls maybe one time the entire time and still didn't win the popular vote yet he becomes President? Doesn't that set alarm bells off. RIGGED!

The statement "Not my President" is truer than we think!! So no, we won't shut up about it.

well now the people who do not support Trump must protest the shitty things he's predicted to do! fight him every step of the way if he tries to take away human rights etc.

revolution, remember. so thats one good thing - maybe people will wake the fuck up in america now.

Instead of pissing away all their time yesterday tweeting, getting stoned then buying Lady Fuglys new album they shoulda voted! Paying the price less than 24 hours later already. We're in third world country now 4 years of this shit. Geezus

Do you actually know what a 3rd world country is?

People actually starving to death, no running tap water, no education, war, famine earning about $1 a month, and not being given the opportunity to even vote.

Now is the time for you and Democrats to stop your sooking and get on with life, it ain't really that bad.

People believing Trump has won the election fair and square need to smell the coffee.. as we have to swallow all the conspiracies theories against Hillary Clinton and Obama I have my theory about Brexit and Donald Trump election, too. And MR Trump should be impeached as soon as they dig on his past dodgey tax evasions.

Anyways, please don't succumb to hate and bitterness just because America has a  hateful, ignorant person as president. We are all equal here. Let's respect each other. Let's love each other.. let's not choose to go down the same road so many  hateful Americans have chosen!

And for people commenting on Madonna protesting.. I mean are you even fans? Personally I wouldn't have expected any other way. I'm glad she's sticking her neck out there and show her unhappiness. If I was a US citizen I would have done exactly the same!

Again, let's remind each other that there are still people who believe in peace and unity and equality for any human being! History is full of bad chapters; we are just going through one of them but together we can make a difference. Let's express ourselves and our views in a peaceful manner always taking into consideration how another person might feel; let's be more sensitive and have a heart and compassion. Trump might have won an election but that shouldn't change the way we feel inside. Love will win in the end. Amen.

ps I didn't report anyone here. Let's not be petty. We are all M fans; if we can't ge along with each other on here how could we possibly even survive in the real world as it stands right now. Peace. Love. Unity. Hope.
