I find it a bit dubious that people believe the US will stop "meddling" in world affairs under Trump considering he has proposed investing something like an additional $450billion into the military. That's a lot of money to invest for them not to be involved in world conflicts.

WW3?

Like I said, WW3 has always been on the cards. Hillary or not. Ask the late Albert Pike and Mazzini

I think that letter by Albert Pike predicting three World Wars might be a hoax: http://wideshut.co.uk/albert-pikes-3-world-wars-letter-hoax-wideshut-webcast/

The war between Islam and the rest of the world seems less of a hoax, however.

Someone said something offensive. Why do you care all of a sudden? You haven't had a problem with offensive remarks when they were made by Trump. Hypocrisy much?

Yeah, and I was simply saying that Trump doesn't deserve the blame, his supporters do, in response to someone who said we should shoot Trump.

Trump supporters are the fucking worst when all of a sudden they're offended by things.

Islamist extremists celebrate Trump’s election win

Donald Trump's presidential election victory has already been cheered by Russian President Vladimir Putin, a constellation of right-wing European populists, a former Ku Klux Klan leader and a Middle Eastern strongman. But there's another curious constituency that seems to be happy about the new American president-elect.

Shortly after Trump was declared the victor, a number of prominent Salafist ideologues linked to jihadist outfits in the Middle East took to social media to cheer the prospect of a Trump presidency.

Exactly. We all know why Trump was elected! He was the only candidate who would lead America to war without losing much for himself and the whole country. He's not even a politician for crying out loud!

His pally attitude with Putin will only serve those two to start WW3. People please pray for peace.

No surprise there.. those people all represent what's always been wrong with the world.

Then Pence would be president, better no?

That is what is also frightening.  Trump loves the power and fame and he is an opportunist. He uses people and causes to gain popularity and support from different groups to increase his chances.   People think that voting for Trump will bring a change but they should be very aware of the likes of Pence and his backward ultra religious views.  Having so many deeply religious conservatives with power is a huge issue in itself.

People of the world have had eight years of a left American administration and extremists of all kinds have still been armed to the teeth so that the West could pry open a free pathway into the Middle East. Where is the media commentary on that? Why aren't people questioning/being upset about that?

Yes, I agree, religious fanatics - of any brand - with and without power is a huge issue. Old human habits die hard.

1) Some peeps have told me Trump was not digging all the equal rights gay couples have accomplished. Did he ever mention anything about gay rights or gay marriages during his election campaign?

2) Would it make sense now that the people who voted for Trump are going to demand for

a) a wall to be built to separate the USA and Mexico ( paid by Mexico by the way);

b) the complete dismantling of the Obama healthcare;

c) remove all the US troops and involvement in the Middle East;

d) take away all the businesses in Asia (mainly China) and bring them in US soil;

e) all Muslims in the US will be subjected to an extensive protocol in order to prove they're not terrorists and won't be accepted in the US;

f) have Hillary Clinton arrested ( ok that's kinda low but still he said it!)

Only good thing now is its ALL on Trump now to deliver. Blaming Crooked Hillary and Obama will soon be ancient history. Basically the same exact place Obama was in 2008/09 after Bush. People got fed up after x-amount of time went by and Obama was still blaming Bush left and right. His sucker voters aint gonna give up their p***y for grabbing so quickly if the snake oil can salesman doesnt deliver the goods which we know he wont! lol

I went to bed last night when it was looking rough for Hillary because I couldn't take it anymore. Plus, I was pretty wasted. I truly expected to wake up to her winning by a hair or it not being called.

I was horrified. Truly horrified. In fact, this entire day has reminded me of 9/11. It's really the only thing I can compare it to. And I'm not a dramatic person, but this is unreal and an absolute American tragedy.

It's not Trump that scares me. Not Pence. Not even his mindless followers. What sickens me is that his behavior, language, and complete disregard for manners, morals, and common decency were validated last night. That nearly a majority of this country just turned a blind eye to all of the monstrous things he did as if it wasn't a big deal at all. That audio of him claiming it's completely alright to sexually assault women was met with shrugs from a vast majority of men AND women.

What scares me is the burning, blinding, and unreasonable hatred for Hillary Clinton from these people. They hated her SO much that they chose THIS man to represent our country? It's as mind boggling as trying to wrap your head around the concept of outer space.

I'm confused. I'm angry. I'm saddened. I'm shocked. That's why 9/11 is the only comparison, at least in my lifetime, that comes to mind.

"but not everyone is like you!"

save it, and shut the fuck up.

He's flip flopped on pretty much every issue so it's hard to say. Years ago he said he believed in 'traditional marriage', more recently at the RNC he said he'd protect "all LGBT Americans" and he was also waving around a rainbow flag on stage at a rally.

This contradicts the fact that his VP is a Bible thumper who hates gays and believes in conversion therapy.

Yes, that is what has also shocked me as well.  The fact that people seem to just ignore how disgusting he was throughout the campaign and that they seemed to almost admire him for it.  When you see a man mock disabled people, talk about women like that and behave so dreadfully while he is campaigning, I would expect people to feel horrified by the thought of him being president.  Instead they seemed to like him more for it.  If Obama or even Bush behaved like that,  I am sure the same people would be disgusted but they don't care when this creep does it.

In Donald Trump’s cabinet from hell, corporatism and cronyism run rampant — and Sarah Palin may be there, too

President-elect Donald Trump started hinting at his cabinet picks long before he received the Republican nomination. This past weekend, sources gave NBC News a teaser list of potential front-runners. NBC News reported:

Among the names being considered, according to conversations with three campaign advisers who requested anonymity to speak freely: Rudy Giuliani for attorney general, Newt Gingrich for secretary of state, retired Lt. Gen Michael Flynn for defense secretary or national security adviser, Trump finance chairman Steve Mnuchin for Treasury secretary, and Republican National Committee finance chair Lew Eisenberg for commerce secretary.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Trump’s rumored Cabinet picks include a mixture of campaign confidantes and titans of industry. Below is a list of some likely and out-of-left-field prospects for various government departments whose names the Trump campaign dropped at one point or another:

State Department

Newt Gingrich: The former House speaker proved himself a rabid Trump surrogate and once was on the short list of potential vice presidential picks.

Treasury Department

Steve Mnuchin: Trump’s finance chair spent time at Goldman Sachs and as a Hollywood producer before hitching his wagon to Mitt Romney in 2012 and eventually Trump in May.

Office of the Attorney General

Rudolph Giuliani: Like Gingrich, the former New York mayor and former associate attorney general has been a tireless, if controversial, surrogate for Trump on the trail and in the media.

Chris Christie: “Though scandal-plagued,” the New Jersey governor “is ostensibly the head of Trump’s transition efforts, giving him a key role over personnel decisions” — though he has “drifted from the campaign” in recent weeks, according to NBC News.

Wild card:

Pam Bondi: Politico called the Florida attorney general — who has been implicated in a scandal involving Trump University — “another possibility,” though questions have been raised, as Fortune wrote, “whether Trump’s $25,000 contribution influenced Bondi’s decision not to investigate his notorious seminar school.”

Department of Defense

Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn: Trump’s national security adviser was fired from his post as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2014, which he attributed to his hawkishness.

Sen. Jeff Sessions: The Alabama Republican took on the transition efforts from Chris Christie after the New Jersey governor “drifted from the campaign.” Sessions was also the first senator to endorse Trump for president in February.

Department of the Interior

Forrest Lucas: An anonymous source “briefed by the Trump campaign” in September told Politico that the Lucas Oil co-founder is a “front-runner” for the job, as the president-elect gathers a “more business-friendly and business experience-heavy cabinet”

Wild cards:

Donald Trump Jr. or Eric Trump: In a January interview with Petersen’s Hunting, the Republican candidate said “ideally” one of his two boys would end up heading the department “because they are hunters and anglers and members of key conservation and Second Amendment groups,” according to The Washington Examiner.

Sarah Palin: In January, Trump said in a phone interview with NBC’s “Today Show” that former presidential candidate Sen. John McCain’s former running mate “could play a position if she wanted to” in his administration. Palin later responded that she’d be interested in heading the Department of Energy but, “If I were head of that, I’d get rid of it.”

Department of Energy

Harold Hamm: The billionaire oilman from Oklahoma helped craft Trump’s flimsy energy policy. The two are, of course, of the “drill baby, drill” mindset. Hamm had a prime-time speaker slot at the Republican National Convention in July.

Environmental Protection Agency

Myron Ebell: The director of the Center for Energy and Environment at the Competitive Enterprise Institute is currently heading Trump’s transition team for the Environmental Protection Agency. Ebell is also a staunch climate change denierwho has faced scrutiny for accepting money from industrial polluters.
