Same here. I just turned 18 and saved money for the VERY FIRST show of the Drowned World Tour in Cologne. It was SOOO hyped and I couldn't have been more excited. It was so hard to get tickets, I skipped school and called the hotline all day with 3 phones and scored amazing seats. But then the first two shows in Cologne got cancelled and the Tour started in Barcelona instead. The only other shows in Germany (in Berlin) were sold out by then and I could not travel somewhere else. So I waited until 2004 when she toured Re-invetion but she skipped Germany. So I travelled to Paris to see her.

I remember the Cologne cancellation was a huge deal on the fan forums when it happened, fans were livid

Rightfully so. She had cancelled the only German Girlie Show gig in Frankfurt...we had to wait 8 longs years and then she cancelled Cologne because of technical difficulties. Her former and unfortunately now late manager Caresse also used some unfortunate phrases (Won big deal") to explain that the entire tour was not in danger of being cancelled which put more fuel to the fire.

I had to go on eBay and pay some good money to get tickets for Berlin but it was worth it.
