micco
It still feels so fresh, not dated at all. Does anyone know who designed her clothes for the video? The red and the black dress are AMAZING.
Guest
NRM is one of my favourite videos but I have so many questions about the symbolism and meaning behind the music video. Does anyone know if a scholar has attempted to analyse the mv in one of her biographies? For example, why does she fall/die after two white stripes are painted on her back? What do the 'demonic' dancers represent and how do they relate with M?
madgefan
I think this was the last time Nicky and Donna lended vocals on a Madonna record, right?

material_boy
Good God S he was so effortlessly cool at this time. Everyone loved her. I remember even the super dark alt-rock / goth girls loved her at this time. There was a girl who was just the pinnacle of anti-establishment in my school and I saw her drop the CD insert to the "ROL" album in my art class one day. I asked what she was doing with it and she like "Madonna fucking rocks" and then turned away from me like I didn't even deserve the explanation.
