NYC Sept. 17

Just got home - stuck on a disabled bus on the Lincoln Tunnel for an hour with a few other Madonna loons after the show but still smiling

The show was awesome with so many highlights. She looks and sounds smashing and it is an amazingly professional, sophisticated, creative and fun show.

I loved the mixes of Music, Living For Love/La Isla and Deeper and Deeper. Who's That Girl was incredible. Heartbreak City/Love Don't Live Here was amazing. True Blue, the medley and the interludes were great. Illuminati is off the chain - who's crazy idea was that? I could go on and on.

The only two that were a bit flat for me were Holy Water - because they took the filthy heavy baseline out (WHY????????) - and Devil Pray. There were some audio issues through that section from Bitch I'm Madonna through to Body Shop - almost like a backing track and her live vocals were out of sync or there was some kind of echo effect happening - it was odd. After Body Shop it went away.

Can't wait to see the show again on Saturday!

I went from best seats first night to worst seats tonight (extreme side high up) but it was still a lot of fun! It was good to see all the stage and lighting stuff that I could not see head on. The packed audience loved everything. And I think she started a little earlier? I even said to my friend, there were not this many people seated so early yesterday. Getting to your seat helps. That fan on stage did a great job. These 2 women behind me had a conversation with each other the entire night!! They never shut up to listen to Madonna or pay any attention. I don't get people sometimes!! Anyway, lots of fun you all need to see this in person this is not a wait for the DVD sort of show!

Oh and I saw Geppetto and Pinocchio!

Actually it was this tall old man with a full head of grey hair with this young tiny dark haired guy. I swear the dude was like an escort or something, and the older man was so weird. Like without Pinocchio knowing he would zoom in on his ass and take a picture when Pinocchio's back was turned or for no reason zoom in on his shoulder and take a pic of it. Like this dude literally took pictures of the younger guy on every part of his body while the younger guy was standing with his back turned to him.

A. Sugar Daddy.

or

B. Geppetto and Pinocchio are much closer than Disney ever let on.

Also while waiting to go in this crazy older lady started talking to me. She said, "Madonna hates me." and I was like why? And she went on how she would spend time outside of her home all the time and stalk her wherever she went. She said she got front row to Blond Ambition and she was SOOOO PISSED that Madonna didn't say hi to her because it was her birthday that day. I started thinking oh boy this chick is nuts. So I asked her If her name was Michelle for the hell of it. :lmao: She said no, why? I was like no reason and then made my way to my sister who had walked away.

Every time I watch this performance, I end up with wet eyes... I think I'll be a mess when I see it live. Too many childhood memories with True Blue, and this version is just better than the original. I love this tour so much, everything is pure class and emotion.

Wow I enjoyed my seat further back on the floor facing the heart than I did at the frontrow mainstage the 1st night! The interaction and energy between her and the fans is greater at the heart. My mother loved the show of course. She doesn't even know 1/2 the the songs but was totally into it all. She was beaming and clapping her hands during the Spanish section and watched Madonna in awe during La Vie En Rose singing along lalalalalala... I think this tour is astonishingly GREAT. So much is expertly packed in and balanced right. I was watching/hearing Madonna more closely this time and trying to take it all in more. So inspiring to see her up there. There will be no other. My favorite performances are Deeper and Deeper (I lost my voice singing along and tearing up at each mama part), Who's That Girl (makes me :cries: taking me back wondering as a child who's this mystical Madonna), Music (her dancing is fantastic and effortless, and that dress looks amazing in movement and sparkles like diamonds), Rebel Heart (I was swaying with my mother and tearing up again seeing our life flash before my eyes :cries: ), Like A Virgin (fuck she's so hottt moving like that and bouncing around like it's The Virgin Tour). ahhhhh I can go on and on. I have a gazillion pics to sift through that will tell the rest!

Get that on the computer at work we use on our breaks all the time. It is so frustrating. Everything is fine on home computer and tablet.

Great review and so thrilled your Mother loved it so much as well. What a special night for you both.

So happy you and your mum got to experience all of this magic Hector

From all fans reviews posted here it really sounds like a fantastic well balanced show where the music, Madonna's huge star quality and her voice reign supreme. I can't quite believe how after such a long time she's still moving and affecting people so much.

Her welcoming in NYC alone is wonderful, I like it when she underplays it in that EW interview with Cohen in the summer "NY is kind of tired of me" :rotfl: Not really woman :wow:

And Trube Blue. The album was dedicated to him and probably the song is about him as well, right?!!

It was indeed and the term "true blue" was something Sean used to say to her.

Great to see he brought his daughter.

You should have asked if her name was Doris, or Stefani. You would have gotten a yes.

I'm friends with David on Facebook and even though I don't know him in person, I am crying tears of joy for him right now. How incredible. It's beyond a dream come true. Most of us dream of just being able to shake her hand but he danced on stage with her and got so much love and the fact that she is doing this on this tour just makes me lover her that much more!!

I honestly wanted to cry tears of joy when I found out David was on stage with Madonna. I've been following him on twitter for a few years now and he's honestly one of the biggest and most deserving fans ever. He's always making some Madonna inspired clothing whether it's a fabulous jacket or tshirt and his bedroom is literally a Madonna shrine. He's truly amazing and it's always the best when the TRUE fans are rewarded. I know this is something he will never forget. And he's barely 21! Just a baby. He wasn't even alive when Madonna got started in music. She's such an inspiration to many people both young and old. And David if you're reading this you totally ROCKED it! You deserved this so much and I am so happy for you! You've literally reached the PEAK of Madonna fandom! She follows you on twitter but now you can say you got to get on stage and dance/talk to her AND get spanked by her! :dramatic::dramatic::dramatic::dramatic::dramatic::dramatic::dramatic:
