Rebel Heart Tour: OPENING NIGHT - quick summary & information only.

Ok so while we have the opening night thread with all the drama and fan reactions as well as the press article thread, I'm opening this thread where you can post information and details on the show ONLY.

Since many of us won't be able to follow the show as it happens, this here is meant to be an easy access to all the info so people don't have to wade through 30 pages first...

So you can primarily post details on each performance / interlude, the whole setlist of course, as well as all other things worth noting about the show. This is free for everyone to post, just please be aware if somebody has already posted the full setlist or details of one performance, don't flood the thread with the same information :)

In case M decides to change up the show later down the road, we can also use this thread to update the details of the show :)

So, til later then...

I have no problem with the song  It's just that I think it had already enough treatment with the TV performances. :D

Need to know where she spends the most of her time. Is it pretty even between all 3 stages. It looks like best action happens on heart stage. Think i need to go to another show to get close to that heart stage action.

Definitly the best part to be.

That's where the VIP were seated, and that's where Guy O was at the begining of the show...

Thanks for the info. Im avoiding looking at videos just photos and stories like yours so it was hard for me to work out where all the action was.

Bit sad now with my seats as im right up near main stage for both my shows. Scared im going to miss all the action.

Really hope she does a third sydney show so i can try and get heart stage tickets or seating in the stands near the heart stage.

Highlights:

Iconic....the murdering of icons in a cage, but Madonna fights and escapes hers. Brilliant.

Holy Water....people were gasping! It kicked ass, and was brilliantly offensive through and through. We laughed our asses off.

HeartBreakCity/Love Dont Live Here Anymore...powerful.

Music...just wow!

Holiday

La Vie En Rose

Rebel Heart

Living For Love....showing people how to rule WITH a cape.

Bitch Im Madonna....done Samurai-style was unexpected.

Deeper and Deeper...a beefed up album version. So energetic!

The abundance of 80's hits is a smart contrast to the Rebel Heart tracks as they have alot in common with who Madonna was then and how art was created and what she has come to be today. Full circle, so to speak.

It starts strong, goes trippy during the Gypsy section (just go with it) and ends fun.

People seemed to enjoy the new stuff very much.

Rebel Heart with the fan art was moving.
