Countdown to REBEL HEART Tour: less than a month to OPENING NIGHT!

Mark my words I will walk out! Hate that damn song. Just bugs the shit out of me.

Well, it's most certainly going to be remixed. Who knows, maybe it'll end up being on of your favourite tour moments.

I, for one am bugged by the inclusion of Holiday. It think it's overdone at this point and should have been replaced by Everybody.

No. It would be more like 'More' by that description. And I wouldn't be surprised if it's a gangster/Great Gatsby type theme, that would fit lyrically with that song.

I think it will be electric swing imo. It's gonna be a juiced up, pumped up number. I reckon a lot of charleston type dancing :D I hope so anyways.

I think so too.

I also think Take a Bow, if it actually ends up as part of that section will be a jazzy version to close that segment.

  1. Iconic

  2. Unapologetic Bitch

  3. Material Girl // Sorry // Don't Tell Me

  4. Hold Tight

The first segment definitely needs some big hit since it will be show in news reports and stuff, Don't Tell Me is not a bad choice and honestly I don't know what else could fit...

Okay, so I made this setlist based on the exclusive rumours that MTribe member posted, because he seems more reliable than NOM lol:

Tried to fill the gaps.

JOAN OF ARC

or whatever the fuck this section's gonna be.

  • Iconic

  • Unapologetic Bitch

  • Material Girl // Sorry // Don't Tell Me

  • Hold Tight

SEX AND RELIGION

title says it all

  • (S.E.X)

  • Holy Water (with samples from Vogue)

  • Deeper and Deeper (with samples from Girl Gone Wild among others)

  • Like a Virgin

  • Inside Out (Remix with samples from Justify My Love and Whole Lotta Love)

  • Devil Pray

CRAZY 30's

Okay, so this is quite unexpected, I must say. This section seems to be revolving around the 1930's which had the rise of stars like Marlene Dietrich and their glamorous portrayal of the Hollywood lifestyle with extreme poverty, war, the Great Depression, etc. I think the theme of the section will be exactly that. Love Profusion will have an anti-war message and will continue the tradition of AL songs being interludes.

  • (Love Profusion)

  • Between the Bars / Ghosttown

  • Body Shop (with samples from La Vie en Rose)

  • True Blue // Cherish

  • Music // Into the Groove

  • Take a Bow seriously the perfect song to close that section

FRIDA

Heavily inspired by Frida Kahlo, obviously. I have no idea how the matador thing is gonna fit in there and how she's supposed to change so quickly but okay...

  • (Love Don't Live Here Anymore HeartBreakCity)

  • Living for Love

  • La Isla Bonita (with samples from Spanish Eyes)

  • Dress You Up

  • Who's That Girl

  • Rebel Heart

PARTY ENCORE

With Music in the 1930 section, Into the Groove not being part of the asetlist, and UB as 2nd song, there really isn't much left tbh. Illuminati is said to be an interlude but how the fuck does that work after RH? Lol, whatever...

  • (Illuminati)

  • Bitch, I'm Madonna

  • Holiday // Into the Groove

NOTE: The First two sections are rebellious and the last two are more romantic = Rebel Heart.

The songs that are striked out are the ones she rehearsed but may actually or will not appear on the final setlist.

Bolded songs are 100% going to appear (or not in case of ITG) on the final setlist accourding to illuminati_x.

// = possible alternatives, my assumptions.

Hasn't Vogue been confirmed as a full song?

Don't Tell Me would be awful in the first segment. I really hope she doesn't do that song at all or if she does I want some kind of remix. How many times did we get that tired boot scootin' version?

Well she has not touched it since 2004 but yes, it should be remixed.

When it was remixed (with the interpolation of "Bittersweet Symphony"). She hasn't really performed the "boot-scootin'" version since 2001.

Not that I'm saying we really need the country-ish version of it on this tour. It probably wouldn't work sonically with that section. But I really wouldn't mind hearing "Don't Tell Me" in whatever rendition she wants to perform. It's a great song. Thematically, I'm sure it fits in quite well for her wherever she wants to sing it -- it is both rebellious (don't tell me to stop) and full of heart/love. It can be about not resting, continually moving forward -- that can apply to her career, but it can also apply to love and romance. (Don't ever tell me to stop being who I am; don't ever tell me to stop loving.)

This thread is slowly doing my head in. People going to walk out if certain songs are played, big hits like Holiday bugging people as over-played, and constant talk of information from MadonnaTribe.

😕😧

We don't know where it is yet? I just put it in the first section as we don't have many songs in that section yet!

I thought one of the insiders had said it was towards the end.

I hope she does Into the Groove

Me too. And the original version.

Anyway wasn't it Mtribe who claimed she was performing a medley of songs at The Brits and that ITG would be one of them? Aren't they just full of shit generally speaking?

Hang on, so Don't Tell Me is officially IN??

Nobody knows... It is according to a random newbie in the MadonnaTribe forum. I'd take anything coming from that particular poster with a huge grain of salt.

No, it was a random poster in their forum.
