#4 Jami Gertz

$2 Billion

Jami Gertz is an American actress and philanthropist who has a net worth of $2 billion dollars. Her net worth is mostly derived from her marriage to LA-based billionaire Tony Ressler, the co-founder of Ares Management which has over $40 billion under management. Ressler is a former owner of the Milwaukee Brewers and was once in the running to purchase the Dodgers. Gertz rose to fame in 80s TV shows and films like The Lost Boys and Less Than Zero, and she continues to act in both film and TV.

Does that mean that Janet should be in the list??

Not that it matters at all but why do they make these lists? What's the point? Why bother if they are compiling them this way? Mariah estimated to be worth half a billion dollars? How? :rotfl: Probably with her shabby royalty deals, non existent touring revenue of 25 years and zero endorsement revenue since forever?

Or the 99c singles she and her 10 different record companies over the years have been pushing ever since the 90s rolled to their end or maybe with the only hit album she's had in 16 years time with TEOM?

By this measure Madonna should be worth at least three times as much considering her publishing/royalty arrangements over the years, selling more albums, the fact that she owns close to $150m worth of art, without going into the $1.2 bn touring revenue territory, plus 32 years of merchandising, licensing and over $100m in endorsement deals throughout her 40s alone

This list is a joke, much like a Forbes list would be these days
