ATLANTIC CITY 10/3/15

Recommended Posts

It's about 80% sold out....should be similar to the Phily show when all is said and done. I'm looking forward to it!

thats a great percent considering it is a week away. Seems like there are some out there that state the tour is not selling but from Montreal thru Philly has sold out. No worries at all about future tour dates.

Well, everything they did has worked - it's 95% sold out now! The show will go on! I'm annoyed that some people will be sitting in the lower level at such a low price when I paid over double to sit in the 200's...but I guess that's what I get for being a hard core fan that has to have his tickets when they immediately go on sale! Oh well....hopefully some true fans got those great seats!

See you guys in Atlantic City!

wow its cheap tho. cheap in the way that a lot of M concerts are normally expensive and this looks like an average ticket price

she should be getting accolades for that all over the media!

AC has always seemed like a suck ass place to see an act as big as Madonna to begin with, but what was already said AC is in a major slump and seems to be circling the drain so its no even on a lot of peoples radar.

Still surprised she even bothered booking a show there.

It's not only in Atlantic, I think..

I have seen very good seats in other shows for 170 USD near of the heart. I guessed that they had lowered the prices because I always read here about her prices being so expensive.

The only thing I don't like is that this may affect the final gross in some US shows.

Markm, no offence but it seems you are on pretty much always saying The same over and over again. Yes The tour is a huge flop blaah blaah. Sales are a disaster!

No need to be in lala land and its ok to discuss realities. But there's no point in wow how horrible something is selling over and over again

He's just reporting what it is, there's nothing wrong with that.

You are doing the most.

Erm. I clicked on this link expecting to see disaster. Only 4 sections in the back are under the "many seats left" color.

Yes, I'm surprised too.

The difference between a few days ago and today is totally abysmal. If you had seen before you would understand his posts, he's not trolling.

So good to see that whatever they have done has worked. Now is almost sold out.

I think that map only shows tickets that are available for the special offer. If you go to the ticketmaster website, there are actually much more unsold tickets than what's on that map.

Apart from that special offer, prices have dropped sharply for this show in all sections. I'm waiting till the last minute to get tickets hoping they'll slash prices even more.

Go to the ticketmaster page without clicking on the link...

Well, I hadn't noticed this Lol

Still looks better now comparing with a few days ago (when I was checking)..

Detroit situation is similar, there was some members on mtribe freaking out over a possible cancellation a few weeks ago. Still tons of seats available, but now it's looking much better

She is going to be fine. We forget she has pretty much been touring like crazy for the last 15 years. Many people have already seen her and her shows aren't cheap so its not shocking that some places aren't moving as fast as others. Most people don't have the expendable income to spend close to a grand (if they are bringing someone) to see Madonna each time she tours plus the cost of travel for a lot of people.

The fact that she is still able to draw the crowds she does in markets like America where she always tours with the same high prices should speak for itself.

This could be her last time playing there but I have to say I've always enjoyed seeing her at Boardwalk Hall because it's an awesome small arena and it's nice that's on the Boardwalk - of course, things aren't what they use to be in AC either. Aside from CT, her other tours have had decent crowds and MDNA's crowd was better than the Philly crowd for that show even with the late start time. But you're right, considering the slump the city is in, people aren't going there for a quick weekend trip (which is probably why her shows there are always on a Saturday night) - nobody is making a weekend out of it anymore.

Oh well...at least the show will go on and that's the most important thing.

I saw S&S and MDNA in AC and both had good crowds. Different than NY of course but still nice and it's fun to see a show then go out and have fun in the clubs and casinos. And like you said the intimacy of the venue is special. MDNA in Yankee stadium vs here was very different. It's not just M so many shows are struggling here.

newbie panic lol....and the media could say how lowering ticket prices is a good thing. think bout it. instead of them twisting it into her not selling out. but who cares now that we know the truth from seeing the ticketmaster map ourselves.

Still tons of seats on the floor near the heart. In New York people were paying top dollar on stubhub for these and they can just shoot down to AC for regular price

Pretty much what I did for Quebec City , in Montreal I couldn't get the same seats unless it was VIP, but Quebec City everything was priced the same and I could get any seat, it's all about local demand

I'm so tempted to buy tickets...I already did the 3 NY shows and Philly. I have to stop myself though! Between gas and alcohol/food it's going to be too much money. Thats a great deal though

That's exactly how I feel as well. I allow myself one more show, and that's it.

See you guys in Atlantic City!

I know how you feel. I paid full price for the 2nd to last row in section 103. Just found out my neighbors got tickets for about $60 each for the first row in a 2nd level section on side of stage too (she didn't know what section as her husband bought the tickets). So essentially they could be sitting 2 rows behind me for much less!

Anyhow...still looking forward to the show and glad it's selling better, but I think i'll be waiting to purchase tickets next time around! Also looking forward to staying over this time and making a full day and night of it.
