San Posted January 12, 2015 Share Posted January 12, 2015 I'm really confused Iv gotten differing diagnoses & prescriptions since I was 15 for my stomach problems. ie; Heartburn, IBS, gastric reflux? I have constipation, pretty sure it's from the meds I take. My bowels dont move unless I take a laxative. I put myself on a bland diet avoiding spicy foods citrus fruits sugar caffeine alcohol not eating anything heavy after 7pm. I take Omeprazole, it works. Had an endoscopy recently, found a small errosion on esophagus (Barretts Syndrome) And once in a blue moon after a meal I start to burp a terrible smell like rotten eggs. Followed by nausea & vomiting then diarrhea. Does anyone burp a rotten egg smell or Sulfur..& what causes it? I have Barrett's too! Not that it's anything to be happy about (ahem oesophageal cancer). I do not burp sulfur though. I don't take any of those reflux inhibitors - they lead to calcium deficiencies and muck up digestion. You have always been ahead of the pack in recognizing how hypocritical and precious these people are and speak so intelligently about it all. Oh honey, I don't have the strength. Plus, we pretty much said what needed to be said. That "scandal" is pretty much done and over. I was just finding it funny that someone was complaining the conversation was here, when it was all in relation to what was being posted on her instagram (hence, this thread). Most of us were just a bit tired of the copy and paste of the articles themselves. Anyway, it's all over and done. On to the next scandal...
