New album thread: #SOON + random insanity

There's a pic on therealmikedean's IG profile, where she's playing cards with him. I don't know what to think. Btw Kanye West calls himself Yeezus (his last album's name as well). They might be working together and the rumor was true after all.

Posted on ATRL by JBB: Woke up this morning feeling that you were gone

Hurt for a while, but I'm finally moving on

Said it, Did it, Hit it, Quit it

Then you let it go

See you tried to call me, but I blocked you on the phone

It took a minute, but now I'm feeling strong

It almost killed me, but I'm better off alone

Now you say it that you're sorry, I don't wanna know

Better face the fact you had to go

It might sound like I'm an unapologetic bitch

But sometime you know I gotta call it like it is

It might sound like I'm an unapologetic bitch

But sometime you know I gotta call it like it is

You know you never really knew how much you loved me 'til you lost me

Did you?

You know you never really knew how much your selfish ******** cost me

Or **** you

It might sound like I'm an

Poison Flower removed all of his comments like 2 hrs ago. Damn it sucks to be late... I'm sure I missed all the juicy details!!

I did it because I find very suspicious that the supposed GONE suddently erased all of his messages on this UKMIX forum and asked for his account to be deleted. maybe he knows some things we aren't aware of like some evil spirits working in the shadows at this very moment... so in doubt, as the previous thread is now closed, maybe the admins should delete it, for more safety.

If I remember correctly, that member of ATRL is quite reliable/in the know about this new album.

Some fucker is attacking Madonna on Instagram accusing her of cultural appropriation on the MWA hat pic. These fuckers know shit about M. and it makes me so mad. She was into hip hop and rap before they were even a thought in their mothers head. She was a regular at Negril, the first and only Hip hop bar/venue in New York in the early 80's when it was just starting. She was hanging out with Fab Five Freddy & Afrika Bambataa and dating Futura 2000. She did not only have the Beastie Boys to open for her but Run DMC as well when their label Def Jam was just starting. She did not make urban music in 94 all of sudden, there were ALWAYS element of hip hop, just listen to Everybody.

As a french person do i call cultural appropriation when i see hip hop artists brag about Louis Vuitton ?

All these threads about the new alblum are terribly stressfull... But the guy who said Living for Love sounds like a cross between Vogue Like a Prayer & RM is my new hero!!

That was the best news ever!

Why do you think this???? God, please no more Demo Constipation

Because he's a producer and a mixer (Beyonce, Kanye West), and look at his profile picture on Twitter:

Like the hat Madge is wearing in her latest Instagram picture.

[/i'm not saying I believe it, just did some digging around after luluthecat's statement]

I think Mike Dean is mixing and mastering the album! No more Demo!!

Mixing and mastering is usually done by mixing and mastering engineers, not musicians/producers. However, there are a few producers who usually mix their own records, such as Avicii, Diplo - and Mike Dean. I'd say that if Mike Dean is indeed mastering the album, he was probably also involved in the songwriting and/or production.

On atrl, a user said it sounds like Hideaway by Kiesza with Like a Prayer... I also prefer to think of Vogue and RM. Maybe he was just saying what we wanted to hear?

Maybe. That person who came here last weekend said that the voice was full in Living For Love, simmilar to the bridge part of Beat Goes On.

Maybe they simply said what we wanted. It's been years since i wanted some strong vocal. I think that voice in songs like Sorry would have worked perfectly.

Btw, I've noticed that many seem to confuse particular terms. So here's an explanation.

Mixing is the process of mixing down multitrack recordings into one or more channels, usually 2-channel stereo. This is usually done by specialist mixing engineers who haven't been involved in the music production, though some producers (e.g. Avicii and Diplo) prefer to mix their own productions themselves.

Mastering is the process of preparing and transfering the final mix or mixes to a master storage device from which all copies will be produced. Track sequencing is part of the mastering process, along with adjusting the length of silence between each song, optimizing the sound quality for the intended medium and adjusting volume across tracks. Mastering is is usually done by a specialist mastering engineer.

The Executive Producer of an album in the one who has the final say in business decisions regarding the productio, distribution and promotion of an album - usually because the Executive Producer finances or funds the entire project. The Executive Producer may or may not be involved in creative process. For MDNA, the Executive Producer was Madonna herself.

Those are very good explanations! Everyone should understand this now

If all this turns out to be true (and I'm starting to think it will), we're in for a very delicious treat. It's gonna slay, yeah!!
