Nonoka Posted December 1, 2014 Share Posted December 1, 2014 One thing I don't understand is how seemingly everyone here talks about March when it comes to releasing the new stuff - which is fine for the album, but the lead single could be released as early as January, no? I don't think that's unusual, lots of artists have been releasing singles in January. It just seems to be a dead month when it comes to album releases. Come to think of that, January is barely 5 weeks away...Sooo, I don't see why she would need to rush release a single this month if it never was planned like that anyway. My radio station literally played clips from rebel heart and wash all over me, and the hosts were talking about how good they were, and how big of hits they thought the songs could be!!! That must be due to the mixing, which was done by Demo Castellon. He mixed the Timbaland/Timberlake tracks on HC, "Celebration", "Revolver" and all of MDNA + the audio of the MDNA Tour CD/DVD/bluray. It bugs me quite a lot too, especially on songs which otherwise could sound amazing, e.g. Love Spent. Her vocals are so tiny in this one, sounds like she's been recording it through a pipe. Yet another example for why MDNA could have been so much better. But you know what, let's not talk about MDNA now...it's all about the new album now!
