Lana Del Rey

I like "Lust for Life," "Cherry, "In My Feelings," and "Get Free." The rest all blurs together. Sounds a lot like Honeymoon to me, which isn't a bad album but I prefer BTD and UV.

So.....

She made duets great again: Groupie Love, Lust for Life, Tomorrow Never Came and Beautiful People are brilliant.

In general the sequence from track 10 to the end is probably the best of her discography, holy s***

I can also understand the space theme she's using, and as a space/universe lover I totally appreciate it.

It's a very personal record, the BTD, U, HM trilogy was too but it was set in Lana's universe. With this record she decided to be personal and to be among us, leaving her universe.

It's a new sound for her but I love it, she evolved without loosing her soul and for that alone, she has my respect.

She just gets better with each album:

1) Lust For Life

2) Honeymoon

3) Ultraviolent

4) Born To Die/Paradise

And all are amazing!

it peaked at nr. 64 or 66

Billboard is totally irrelevant today

Thank you for the informations.

SUch a poweful song and that chart position. Maybe she should buy them out to get a higher position :p

Anyway, I think she doesnt care so much about the chart positions

Absolutely love Lana Del Rey. The new album, like the others, is growing on me. I especially enjoy Love, 13 Beaches, Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems and When the World was at War. It really encompasses so many influences, it's actually more amazing the more I listen to it. Very well produced! I don't care for the rap collaborations though...meh!

Listened to half of lust for life and will listen to other half when have free tine. Think it sounds very good. She def rubs me in a bad way sometimes, but trying to give album a chance.

Like that it's also  not another badly produced album or overly commercial. I can see why her fans love it!

I like the album but I really miss some up tempo tracks. Her last two albums are ballad and down tempo overload. I can't think how her live would work if she didn't have the hits from her debut.

I love this album. This may just be my 2nd favorite next to Ultraviolence. 13 Beaches, Groupie Love and Beautiful People/Problems have to be released as videos.
