_Gark Posted September 26, 2014 Share Posted September 26, 2014 there's around 25-30 demos recorded confirmed by the producers during interviews if I'm not wrong! 11 with the Viking Harem 7 with Diplo 7 with Mark/Natalia 25 demos confirmed by the producers/collaborators plus not confirmed several others with Pharrell (if MadonnaRama is true) and Mozella/Toby/S1 (based on Instagram I think that some of them could actually have been reworked/produced by Diplo). People say there will be not enough quality control or too many fillers, but every album even a single one is going to have some songs people like better than others. Taste in music is so subjective. What may be to one person filler, may to someone else a great song. I say give us as much as possible and let everyone decide for themselves which songs they love the most. adirondak Posted September 26, 2014 Share Posted September 26, 2014 If she does a double album where one is kind of mature, ray of light-ish and another that is more straight up fun, aimed at younger audience I think that would t brilliant. A lot of criticisms against her music lately come from her trying to blend songs in one album that reach out to those two different audiences. The singles will be different in each country. Every other will get a single from album 1 and every other from album 2. I think some just dismiss songs too fast and really don't give them a chance...and yes all of her albums have at least one or two songs that are you know just for fun In one review of MDNA, the critic (I've spent ten minutes trying to track down the source but can't find it) essentially described the album's progression as a journey - the divorcee that is aggressively determined to go out and have FUN - GGW, GB, IA - and while she's at the club she's going through all the things that make her unique/lovable - TUTR, GMAYL, SG, IDGAF, Superstar sort of an outlier -, ultimately coming back home alone and reflective about where things went wrong or aren't as satisfying - Sinner, Masterpiece, Love Spent, Falling Free. The interpretation kind of blew my mind, and it's probably one that helped me respect the album as a concept, not just as a bunch of songs, some of which I adore.
