Billboard clip discussion: NOT Madonna. The show is over say goodbye (Say Goodbye)

Recommended Posts

It's not from Madonna's official Facebook page. It's from an article in Instinct Magazine, a gay publication. They linked to Madonna's Facebook page in their post, but it was not posted by her official Facebook page.

Oh ok.

That, I didn't understand.

so,just to be clear....that Billboard clip is NOT Madonna, right? There's no chance of her being involved with that song ("We R Superstars"),right?

I'm OK with this.It means we can now move on and wait for the "real" Madonna single ;) I bet it's gonna be better and more amazing than that clip, anyway!

It's still a mystery..

It's not even an instrumental anymore. What's released has vocals on it. And they're not Madonna's vocals. This isn't a Madonna song.

Madonna's Summer-Ready New Single "We R Superstars" Instrumental

It's no secret that Madonna has been working on a new song titled "We R Superstars" for her upcoming thirteenth studio album with producer Sander Kleinenberg. Timed with a teaser image from the next issue of V Magazine (featuring Katy and Madonna engaged in some glam S&M action) and further lending credence to the leak and the collaboration with Katy on the album, the instrumental version of the track has made the Internet explode. We hate the title but love the sound so far, according to the alleged leak! We're getting whiffs of Daft Punk, The Cure with an after taste of early-Madonna, which are not poor parallels for a summertime single. In other words, we hope this is the real deal.

OK some of you NEED to revisit the billboard article.

1. The title says :

Guess Who's Behind This Disco-Fueled Track

"GUESS WHO"

They can't just have people GUESS someone who's not a household name.

2. "this blistering tune by a shape-shifting dance legend..."

The leading artist can't just be a DJ. Yes, it can be produced by Sander, Avicii, or whoever the DJ is. But a dance legend gotta be part of this. I can totally see Madonna snatching the production and then add a vocal layer to the beat. Her most recent megahits Music and Hung Up heavily heavily relied on existing instrumentals (The Mirwais demo/ Gimme sample). Maybe she wants to re-use this formula if her aim is a global smash first single.

3. " takes a few cues from the Daft Punk playlist and is a flawless fit for the times."

Yeah sure Nile took some cues from Daft Punk!!

4. "we've been sworn to secrecy on the exact artist’s identity, after a fair amount of begging, we were given exclusive permission"

Sounds like a major label with an organized team is behind this, not?

On top of that, a reliable source (ACTUALLY reliable, not DrownedM kinda reliable) from Pulse Music Board said something like " Tuesday's gonna be a good day!" on Madonna's thread. Isn't that a good hint?

Stop taking Billboard's words seriously !

Billboard would not do this on a whim.

This has something to do with Madonna, Katy Perry, Beyonce and probably Gaga + more. Bet ya!

The delusion :lmao:

Um… is the Billboard song Nile Rodgers (Chic) feat Madonna, Bowie & Grace Jones plus other "superstars" !?

http://www.gigwise.com/news/91736/could-david-bowie-pharrell-feature-on-new-nile-rodgers-track

So according to GigWise Nile Rodgers has been working on a song that will include ALMOST EVERYONE he's worked with

So:

1. That fits the title 'W R Superstars'

2. That fits with Madonna posting about Prince (Since Niles wants to work with him) and Michael (Who has worked with Niles)

3. That fits Lenny Kravitz also posting about 'the calm before the storm' as so Sander Kleinberg (One of the producers of the track) tweeted , since Lenny has also worked with Niles

4. That also means Pharrell involved since he has also worked with Niles, Madonna just posted two pictures implying she's in the studio with Pharrell

5. Madonna also posted lately about discussing Pharrell Vs Michael (two persons that could be on the track)

6. Also Niles has tweeted about Madonna about 6 times in the last 3 weeks, when he never did before this often.

So could We R Superstars be Sander Kleinberg & Nile Rodgers feat. Madonna, Pharrell, Michael, Prince, Lenny, David Bowie, etc... ?

Yes its something along those lines. It involves Madonna and other stars. As I said two days ago, the jokes on us re Billboard - they made us think it was one superstar when in fact it's many :madonna2:

^ Did they ever say they would reveal who it was? It seems to me it was probably exactly what someone on here suggested a while back: that Madonna (or whoever the artist is) was putting it out there to create buzz and get a sense of how people like the sound. The artist probably got the info they needed and will release it when it's finished. It's way too soon/early for M to be releasing a single from the new album anyway. The internet has made all of you spoiled and impatient.

It's not? I wish someone had told US this secret!

That article then goes on to list all the latest rumours and ends with "we hope it's all true". What a crock.

As cool as Nile Rodgers is and as much as he's enjoying this current renaissance, is he really powerful enough to pull THAT off? and if he was, I imagine he'd be the driving force behind the music not some 2nd rate Ibiza DJ that's been hawking this particular backing track for over a year.

Is Katypatra/madonnafan126/Grooveboy/tyson2005 the same person? :D They write similarly with the same delusion :D

Maybe. The posts do seem very designed to illicit some sort of extreme response so that said person/people can then go "SEE I WAS RIGHT, YOU ARE A BUNCH OF HORRIBLE BASTARDS" Very trolling 101, very boring.
