Samo Posted February 19, 2014 Share Posted February 19, 2014 Over the past 6 months at work 2 people said that they think Madonna is a drug addict one woman said not know but she was when she did that book when she had sex with dogs! WTF!!! Madonna and her message and career has always been about being in control, working hard and believing in yourself. Madonna is also very vain and works out for 3 hours every morning and has has numerous work done to look youthful and good. Heavy drug use would destroy all of that. I think most of her drug experimentation would have been during her early New York club years. I've always thought of her as anti drugs as her early interviews, she said she didn't like how she felt on them. I suppose weed is slightly different to coke and ecstasy though. Is it just some crazy people on the Internet? She acts very normal and down to earth and straightforward in most interviews and appearances. The woman who called Madonna an addict also believes that Madonna had sex with dogs for her sex book and that she was a "out of control slut into drugs like Lindsay Lohan is today". I had to correct her right there on the spot! She also said that Madonna was huge in the 90s, but you "don't hear much about her today" and that she likes some of her songs but "wouldn't pay good money to see her in concert". You have to think, most people actually thought she was this raging, insatiable slut back then and a lot of times drug use goes hand in hand with that behavior.....in the eyes of a lot of people. Plus she's a "rock star" and again......a lot of people automatically assume most rock stars do drugs. The funny thing is, having been a Madonna loon for over 20 years, the only time I have EVER seen or heard of her being associated with drugs is when she referenced her early years and experimenting with coke, E etc. Granted, she is fucking Madonna and would have access to whatever she wants so I'm sure she has tried a lil somethin somethin here and there in her post fame years. I read in one of those unauthorized bios that she smoked a lot of pot while preparing for her role as Sarah Jennings in Dangerous Game. So, either she's kept this alleged "serious drug abuse" WELL under wraps......or she has never been a drug addict, which would be my guess. The impression I have always gotten from Madonna is she has very little tolerance for serious drug users around her.....on the other hand, I don't believe she's a prude that would totally condemn ALL drug use. Most people didn't "get" what Madonna was doing with the Sex book and the meaning behind it, they still think that she was some out of control drugged out slut showing off her body to make money and that she was no better than a drug addicted porn star. How great of the interviewer to present her with all those art books. I think she REALLY liked that. I don't remember the details clearly and I don't remember if I read it or heard her say it but I do remember that quote vividly. She was like "You're kidding me, I find that hard to believe" She told me that she read in a tabloid years ago that Madonna went to a "secret rehab" before she got pregnant to get clean. I also can't tell you how many times I've heard people say that if "she didn't take her clothes off she wouldn't be so popular" or "the only thing that Madonna did for music was she made it OK for girls to act like little sluts." But even people who've said stuff like that usually follow it up by say "but I likr some of her songs" or "I have her greatest hits".
