I wish someone in the press would have the integrity to just print the truth about her instead of all of this payed for spin. The over the top praise about her has gone on for years and will start again if she releases her new CD. The constant need to try and make her seem more talented and important than Madonna is pathetic. Also Rihanna, Katy Perry and Adele have all been much more successful than her for 2 years yet they keep saying that Gaga is the woman of the moment. This is actually what annoy me the most in this. A lot of artists i'm not a big fan of got constant praise by the medias (Beyonce) and i don't really care. But with Gaga, the medias really do anything they can to dismiss Madonna in order to make Gaga looks important. That's why i never believed Gaga when she said she "admires" Madonna or anything like that. I really think her and her label are on a mission to destroy Madonna's legacy. Material Girl and the perfume. Hence she only made 125 million. In contrast they guestimated huge earnings for Gaga from other areas because if you only take her tour revenues, Gaga would have a higher ratio than Madonna. 160 million to 80 million. 305 million to 125 million. And that is the biggest nonsense ever. Everybody knows Madonna has the highest royalty rates in the business. To tell you the truth, it becomes more and more obvious that Forbes has no idea at all. But they can't admit it. They pretend to know everything when the truth is they have no inside knowledge whatsoever. And how could they? It has always been about guestimates. But now it starts to become desperate. Adding all the social stuff. Sorry, it's embarrasing that they even recognize this since it has been proven many times that Facebook fans and twitter followers can be bought and millions of accounts are actually inactive and that all this presence doesn't mean a thing. It's not just Madonna, other entries are also dubious. Billboard does a top earners list every year based on industry numbers and a solid methodology. When it comes to it, look at the recent MDNA concert launch. Madonna got heaps of press and looked confident and shone. Gaga's got a tour she had to cancel because of poor sales and that won't come on DVD as it was so bad, an album permanently delayed and internet stats that have been shown to be faked. Forbes is known for disliking Madonna anyway, but they had to include her on the list because she made more money than everyone on the top 10 list. Why not make her 5 then? It's all a part of being a Madonna fan. She's going to be hated on until the day she dies. She is the only pop star that has entire fucking forums dedicated to hating on her. People endlessly talk about how horrible Madonna is, and well, I wouldn't have it any other way.
