LAV was amazing in the rain. Seems like the umbrella guy was a bit surprised when she told him she's gonna hold it herself.

De Standaard mentions the lack of hits in the setlist but we know that's not her style, they praise the tasteful costumes, her artistic ambition and integrity, pointing out OYH as a beautiful, organic moment, officially calling out all the bs in the media from the last few weeks, writing a beautiful follow-up piece titled:

'MADONNA IS NOT A HAS-BEEN'. Het Nieuwsblad is amazed by Madonna at age 53 and cites 10 things we can still learn from Madonna saying it's never 2 late 2 challenge yourself, it's okay 2 keep testing ur own sexual boundaries, oh and a real woman doesn't need a man, she holds her own umbrella. FOCUS/KNACK says Madonna is half man, half machine...her demeanor demands respects, drawing parallels between MDNA, Blond Ambition and DWT. De Morgen offers the usual sour grapes. MNM radio said Madonna was in fine voice ( :chuckle:) saying it was more a cross between Cirque du Soleil & a Musical than a concert. The evening news on EEN and RTL-TVI had positive reports on a spectacular show in the vein of 'Madonna Takes Brussels by Storm'. Concert goers (casual fans) who were interviewed in street afterwards were mostly positive, even those who wanted more hits...one reporter tried 2 cause a little stink by pointing out the use of pre-recorded vocals but was told 2 sit his ass down by 2 fifty-something women who said it is very hard 2 sing and dance at the same time, 'And she does it so well, she's very expressive'. A couple of nine year old girls were asked what their favourite part of the show was: 'The Guns!' . The handful of negative remarks on some websites has been mostly met by pure support from people who actually went 2 the show or as the news item on EEN puts it: audience reaction was POSITIVE. :fag:

Le Soir & Ciné Tele Revue offered positive reviews as well.

CONCENTRA's two regional 'papers' were ridiculous, they offered a very short poorly written negative opinion (the same writer 4 both papers). One of 'em

being the paper my family & friends read :(

Thanks for your summary of all the great reviews! :newspaper:

Seems as if some of the press finally catch up with the evidence of the brilliance that is MDNA.
