Don't forget she gets a lot of help from Kalakan and the girls so sometimes even when shes live you may think she isn't. When she did sing live she sounded very good. Seems she opted to do more lipping/backing track/ live singing mix than usual. Like for Reinvention, she didn't do those heavy dance moves as much and her voice was stellar. Hell, an 18 year old would pass out with all the heavy dancing she does! I am worried a bit cause I have heard many( 9 and counting) casual friends of mine wanting to sell their tix cuz the show is so heavy on MDNA and they feel it is an insult to further throw in Revolver, Celebration, Candy Shop and Cyberraga . I wasn't convinced with the setlist when it leaked, but after seeing the clips, it mostly works. The show is pretty amazing theater/a concert extravaganza. Butter9 Posted June 4, 2012 Share Posted June 4, 2012 Just got back from the concert. What a night. the crowd was mixed of locals but more Expat-ish . Several fights broke out in the golden circle . the scariest one involved a girl who was built like King Kong bitch slapping her way to the front with a beer in her hand .Then I saw her slapping someone's head right at the front. Security had to escort many people out .AM EXHAUSTED so i will write everythaaang in point form. It was a magical night. the show is fantastic. Not as polished as I thought it would be but am sure she will make it perfect when she arrives in Europe / US ( and Aus ). The sheer bravado of this woman. The energy . It was AMAZING . 1.The air was not as hot as I thought it would be . It was bearable. I was in the golden circle stage right . Not right up front . 2. She started again on the dot at 10.45 pm. It was weird that they had to disassemble Benny Benassi's set to make way for her set/probs. 3. The Opening was stunning . 4. Her knee strap/revolver holder came undone during Gang Bang and she was trying to strap them together. her mic slipped from her hand but her voice was still singing. ( She was lipping ). She laughed it off. 5. During EY she let her baton slipped from her hand. It just shot out of her hand so she walked across the stage to pick it up and carried on . 6. She joked about the intense heat saying " Now let me stand here and just sweat a bit ." 7. At the end of EY she unbuttoned her top to reveal a black bra saying " Yeah that's right. if it's too hot just take it off ." 8. She really interacted with the Abu Dhabi crowd tonight . Joking with us several times . 9. She seems tired and at the start of Masterpiece she could really see that she needed to take a breather . 10. During Papa don;t preach i think she missed her cue or almost started singing at the wrong time . 11. Highlights for me were GGW , GB, EY,GMAYL, Vogue , CS ( !!!) ,HN, I'm addicted ( I think the kung fu thing worked really well on stage !) , LAP,OYH,Celebration . 12. her hair by the end was this frizzy messy thing due to the intense humidity and heat . 13. The end of very abrupt . AN anti climax really . 14. All in all 9 out of 10 . I had a great time and she was such an amazing presence on stage . Even though she seemed exhausted in some parts she knew she was there to entertain the crowd. Her sheer force of will . Fantastic . Ps. i got to share my elevator with some dancers on the way back to my hotel . wanted to take pics but my phone ran out of battery by the end of Vogue !
