New Tour Setlist (reports from rehearsals - SPOILERS)

"Everybody" will probably make it to the set list, given the 30-year anniversary. I can't see any of the rumoured set lists pleasing Australian audiences. In 1993, people complained that she played "too many new songs" and "not enough hits"....! S&S was packed full of Australian hits, but she'll probably avoid most of those ones this time around, will cop a pounding from the Australian press and public for not playing the songs they've been waiting 20-30 years to hear, then probably never come back (and everyone will trash the Aussies for being "ungrateful"). People who haven't had the chance to see Madonna live for 20 years (or ever, in the case of younger fans), want to hear her signature tunes - not fan favourites designed to keep those who've seen every show she's ever done happy. Of the set list posted above, the casual fans (who will comprise the bulk of the audience) will know "Music", "Express Yourself", "4 Minutes" and possibly "Dress You Up". Believe me, this will NOT go down well, and Madonna will be accused of ripping off her audience by charging massive prices to watch her perform songs that nobody knows.

Obviously, it's not all about Australia, but her last three tours have had a great balance of big hits/nice surprises for the fans/new material, so it's reasonable to expect that she'll offer something similar this time.

Seriously, give it a break already. No setlist has been confirmed yet. Why are you getting so worked up about it?

And may I add, Madonna is never going to formulate a setlist based on the "needs" of any audience.

Putting the pieces together from her interviews and twitter, she has hinted we are getting GGW, GMAYL, Revolver, GB, physical attraction and Everybody.

SPOILER!!!!!

The MDNA World Tour will open on May 29th in Tel Aviv and, thanks to our sources, Madonnarama has learned some new info on the setlist Madonna is currently rehearsing for the tour!

If you don’t want any spoilers, look away now, if you can't wait for the exclusive, then enjoy…

Keep in mind that Madonna is currently in rehearsals and that the final setlist might include some changes.

The MDNA Tour opens up with religious chants that lead into Girl Gone Wild. Just like the album version it includes the Act of Contrition intro and also has a new instrumental part featuring whip-sounds and even some Material Girl lyrics. Then comes Revolver featuring Lil Wayne, who will appear in the backdrop video, followed by Gang Bang. The fourth title on the setlist is the first real surprise: an edited version of Papa Don'tt Preach!

Hung up has completely been reworked to fit the theme of the MDNA tour and next up is guitar-heavy I DonÂ’t Give A featuring Nicki Minaj.

Some of you might have noticed similarities between Best Friend and Heartbeat from the Hard Candy album. YouÂ’re not the only ones, because the tour version now includes more Heartbeat references and even some lyrics.

Express Yourself has some HUGE surprises that will have everyone talking, but we wonÂ’t spoil these for the moment.

After this we go into the Just Blaze remix of Give me all your LuvinÂ’, followed by Turn up the Radio.

Another surprise on the setlist is a completely reinvented version of Open Your Heart, which is followed by a track from the MDNA album, Falling Free. The tour version is very similar to the album version, but has a more prominent violin sound.

The second part of the show also includes a totally reinvented version of the William Orbit remix of Justify my Love, including new lyrics, and a Nobody Knows Me video interlude.

Stay tuned for more exclusive Madonna info, only at Madonnarama!

I wonder what song she'll choose to close the tour? Im guessing celebration, although I can't see how the crowd can chant to that at the end (assuming she'll have us chant like in the previous tours).

This set list sounds good and more plausible than that Boy Culture one. It has some of the iconic older songs like Papa Don't Preach, Express Yourself and Open your Heart that haven't been performed in awhile.

I know I"m in the minority but I love my guitars. I think you need some guitars in a live show. All electronic and programmed stuff while great in a club, doesn't work in a live concert.

I always liked the chants. I always enjoy it when she's interactive with the crowds, shows that she has a connection with the fans.

But those new rumored songs look good. A little sad that Papa Don't Preach is edited once again! Oh well, that song always works well live. Yes I enjoyed the cheestastica of the RIT rendition, it was a delight to hear it live after so many years.

I will be disappointed if that song makes it and Love Spent gets the cut.

was worried Falling Free wouldn't make it... need Im Addicted and Love Spent now. (I can see Love Spent as the Miles Away of this tour...)
