karbatal
Every piece of info that we are gettin seems to lead to a "fun" album, not a piece of work like Like a Prayer or Ray Of Light. I don't mean that "fun" means "worse", but GMAYL doesn't lead to think of a new milestone in Madonna's career, even if the production is completly different. erotica blu
I hate the song titles. They sound random--low rent--and Manet Jackson-ish.
karbatal
hahaha, but you can't know if a song is good or bad with a title!!! Jump is so pretty, Music is great, Papa Don't Preach is incredible, Incredible is horrible...

Guest groovyguy
I'm not saying it's bad. But it's not great. With all the hype they are feeding us, I hope we don't get disappointed in the end. Lyrics are only a part of the song and as the lyrics for "Music" can attest, they don't make a song sometimes. However, when dealing with ballads, lyrics become much more important. So, though the lyrics are not awful (if a bit cliched), they are miles away from LTT or PTT. So I hope they dropped the "10x better than LTT" hype unless they can deliver. Don't fret. The lyrics are fake. Just found out that they are the lyrics of the song TRUST by Megadeth. Now signed to Interscope Records through will.i.am Music Group, she premiered the single "Acapella"-her first new material since 2006's "Kelis Was Here"-online in November. On the track, produced by David Guetta and inspired by her son, the New York-raised singer/songwriter takes her hip-hop-driven style in a more electronic/dance direction. Other songs on the anticipated eight-song project include "4th of July," produced by DJ Ammo; "Kids," inspired by homosexual clubgoers; the acoustic-guitar based "Carefree American," produced by Jean Baptiste; and "Alive," helmed by Diplo. Kelis is currently in the studio with label head Will.i.am.

Madonnarama, was the first to reveal the collaboration with Martin Solveig, William Orbit and Benny Bennassi for Madonna’s upcoming album. We also gave you the title tracks “Gimme all your luvin”, “Girls gone wild”, “Masterpiece” and “Bang Bang” before anyone else… Today, we can reveal the name of another track produced by Martin Solveig for Madonna’s next album, called “Turn up the Radio”. The track is already being considered as a second or third single release for the album. It’s an uptempo dance-pop song that could get numerous amazing remix treatments and become a massive hit in clubs and in the charts. So far we’ve got… Gimme all your luvin’ Bang Bang (possibly a B-side) Masterpiece Girls gone Wild Turn up the Radio Someone on another forum posted this: Martin Solveig produced a track called Turn Up The Radio for Sunday Girls and the song was cut from the record. Here is a live version of that song. Turn Up The Radio

The "Music" title sounded like generic garbage before the song actually came out and it turned out to be awesome. Totally disagree. The simplicity of titles like "Music" always held the potential to be something ultra cool. Shit like "Girls Gone Wild" will always conjure images of soft core porn no matter what the song sounds like. It's like a Katy Perry tracklist... Here is a live version of that song. Turn Up The Radio I REALLY like that song. Very poppy - great hook. I can totally see Madonna singing it. Millions of times better than "GMAYL" Totally disagree. The simplicity of titles like "Music" always held the potential to be something ultra cool. Shit like "Girls Gone Wild" will always conjure images of soft core porn no matter what the song sounds like. It's like a Katy Perry tracklist... Well, back in the days before this forum (in the days of the MLVC mailing list), I can tell you nearly everyone hated the title "Music" until they heard the song. I really don't care if "Girls Gone Wild" is the name of a titty video series. Madonna takes shit like that and makes it her breakfast. If it is a killer dance song, people will eventually think of the Madonna song before they think of the home videos. After all, if you drop the song title "Human Nature" in this forum, no one thinks you are talking about Michael Jackson. Madonna takes things and makes them her own.
