I don't think having or not having "the wow factor" is even the issue. I'm betting the HQ final production will make a huge difference as well. This is a very emotional and dramatic ballad with some mature lyrics. Radio has been known to play songs like this. But currently there doesn't seem to be a place on radio for it especially from an aging pop star like Madonna. Contradictorily though, Adele is all over the radio, so I can't see why this can't be either? I don't see it even hitting top 40 radio. Maybe some adult oriented stations will play it, but unless the industry gets a bit nostalgic and willing to play Madonna's new stuff, this song will probably get lost.
