Guest SuperBriGuy
You know, I still think there may be hope for this song...does anyone remember how slow Lady GaGa's "Lovegame" was to reappear on the charts when it debuted? It didn't reappear for about a month after it debuted. Of course...that may have also had something to do with the fact that "Pokerface" was still all over the place. I'm rooting for ya, Madge! HolidayGuy
Didn't the remixes come out 2 weeks ago? I remember inquiring at Pulse about whether it entered the Singles Sales chart last week. Weird that it didn't the first week, but does now, unless it got lost in the SoundScan system.
HolidayGuy
"Celebration" has total sales this week of 14,424, its second-highest weekly sum thus far. For some reason, it didn't debut on the Singles Sales chart a couple weeks back (error?) when the digital EP hit iTunes- but it scanned around 1,452 that week. Here's a week-by-week airplay/sales breakdown, and how many chart points that resulted in. 8/15/09 Chart Airplay: 2.4 million Sales: 10,010 Total chart points: 1,241 8/22/09 Chart Airplay: 2.8 million Sales: 31,882 Total chart points: 3,468 (Debuted at No. 71 on Hot 100) 8/29/09 Chart Airplay: 2.9 million Sales: 11,148 Total chart points: 1,404 9/5/09 Chart Airplay: 4.2 million Sales: 11,926 (includes the 1,452 the digital EP scanned) Total chart points: 1,612 9/12/09 Chart Airplay: 5.1 million Sales: 9,891 Total chart points: 1,499 9/1/9 Chart Airplay: 4.7 million Sales: 14,424 Total chart points: 1,912 So, this is its second best week thus far, in terms of overall chart points. In some weeks, it *could* be enough to chart near the bottom of the Hot 100- but it probably won't.

HolidayGuy
bigham, you tryin' to be me with that typo? ;-) I gather #34 will be the Adult Top 40 peak- it's not moving there at all now. How about ance Radio Airplay? Looking at Mediabase, it's also stuck there- surprising, as all of her singles since HU have topped Dance Radio Airplay. HolidayGuy
What does the Dance Radio Airplay chart look like? That one San Francisco station turned from dance to pop, so that makes an even lesser chart. I gather it's not on the Hot Videoclip Tracks chart? Fuse is playing it decently, and MTV, to a lesserextent. Still no VH1 support.

HolidayGuy
Gracias. Dance Airplay FLOP (everything since "Hung Up" has hit the top spot). Though, all it takes is one station spiking spins ,and it can jump 8-1 (probably won't happen, though.
