Before the album comes out they can certainly say "Madonna have had 40 #01 Hits on the billboard dancecharts, the double than any other artist ever, including the just released song Celebration"

"Celebration" is the perfect song to celebrate a 40th #1. As for how many more she needs to have the most on any Billboard chart ... not sure. Doesn't George Strait currently hold the title with 40-something #1s on the country singles chart?

Strait has also issued 88 singles since 1981, with 44 reaching Number One on the Billboard Hot Country charts and Canadian Country charts.

So still a long way to go to get the most #01s on Billboard tittle... but... they can probably send some new promo remixes for a song or two that never went to #01 and it's featured on this Collection and do the trick as a third of fourht dance promo single ;) ... just like it happened with the American Life album... or "Crazy For You" in the 90's (though putting more effort on remixes and promotion!).

If airplay continues to grow at Hot AC (Adult Top 40), it has a shot at debuting on there in coming weeks. Though the regular AC chart requires a small amount ofspins to place at the bottom of the top 30 (or at least it had in recent times).

Great Debut! :D

The Hot Debut song from last week (at #40) it's even at a lower position this week, just behind Madonna!

Sakira She Wolf was released a week or two earlier (last week #01 breakout) and debuts this week behind Madonna at #36... and Mariah new song it's breakout only now, still was also released ahead!

Sure shot at #01 for Madonna ;)

Isn't this chart without the week delay all the other Billboard charts have?

If so it means we will certainly start seeing something on the other charts 2 or 3 weeks from now only since Hot Dance Club Chart usually debut her new songs a week in advance too.

• On Hot Dance Airplay, "Celebration"—the first single/title track from Madonna's upcoming greatest-hits album (due Sept. 29)—starts the party at No. 7, the chart's highest debut since Dec. 13, 2008, when Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" also debuted at No. 7. Since the Dance Airplay chart launched Aug. 16, 2003, only two other singles have bowed higher: Ciara's "1, 2 Step" (No. 5 on Jan. 20, 2005) and Madonna's "4 Minutes" (No. 5 on April 5, 2008) . . . "Celebration" also enters the Hot Dance Club Songs chart at No. 29—the diva's 56th Club hit. The entry extends her lead as the artist with the most hits on this chart.

"Celebration" will chart on the Hot 100 for 1 week, and next week, it may debut on Adult Top 40 (Hot AC). Other than that and the Dance charts, that'd be about it. Maybe the video will appear on Hot Videoclips Tracks after it debuts (and maybe it will return to the Hot 100 thereafter? Wouldn't expect it, though).
