Is Susan Boyle the new Madonna?

Recommended Posts

I don't think any female has made as big a worldwide impact in such a short space of time. Madonna owed it all to being at the forefront of the MTV age and Susan owes it all to youtube era.

Forget Lady GaGa - Susan is the natural successor to Madonna's throne :wow:

This is like when the English tabloids in 1990 said "Move over Madonna! Rita MacNeil has took your place"

Oh Rita McNeil. I cringe when they play her special during Xmas. It always involves her giant ass standing on a mountain singing...every year.

I swear she's the punchline for all my fat jokes.

She should do an inspirational cover of "Erotic."

"We could use the cage...I've got a lot of rope..."

I'm getting all weepy just thinking about it.

honey after you hit 40 years become like dog years. those three years are like 21 human years. Thats why SuBo is so much more pliable with her body than Madonna

Susan has had massive popularity in a short period of time, but right now she has not done the groundbreaking things Madonna has done. Honestly, Susan only got so much attention because of how she looks. Yes she has a beautiful voice, but if she was an average looking 47 year old, would she be getting this much attention? She's made people more aware that they shouldn't judge by looks, but that's about it. She has a far way to come before being close to anything Madonna has ever done.

She's not even the new Paul Potts, pepole. I mean, come on - "I dreamed a dream?" That's your signature song?

She's being cited everywhere for being very frumpy and old looking. That's what I meant, if she was prettier and wasn't frumpy.
