HolidayGuy
Wonder how many spins Madge had this week. The UK chart can really differ dramatically when it comes to spins/audience ratio. I've seen instances in the past where tracks in the top 10 had differences of hundreds and hundreds of spins, but one with the notably lower spins had the bigger audience. (could be that way in the USA too, but never delved into it too much)

He is this little rapper, someone clearly likes his style but I cannot stand his pronunciation. Cockney/ mid atlantic, sounds so contrived. Quite a catchy melody though. (could be that way in the USA too, but never delved into it too much) Probably not many but will have picked up good audience figures due to Radio1 and 2 playing it at peak times. I am sure it will take off at the commercial local stations and that is what will increase its number of plays.

loomer
To do with record labels, Warner artists on an EMI compilation. Yeah. Though Madonna songs did turn up on the old rival series to Now, produced by Warners and Sony, the Hits album series, which evolved through several titles - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hits_(compilation_series)

jonski43
25 23 Madonna Celebration Dropping already, probably because Radio 1 isn't playing it. I heard Scott Mills play it once but that is it. The reaction was mixed to the first play. I wonder if it is because it is too early before release? Radio 1 is normally pretty loyal to Madonna, even during American Life. Mightycomfort
I hope it's play listed this week . Song seems badly handled in uk. Don't even have digital release date yet . Still I hope for a number 1 song here
Queen Bitch
UK radio isn't embracing this and Radio 1 will probably relegate her along with the old presenters they got rid of. This is shaping up to be another flop.

debord
I think it’s fairly obvious that in the UK they are holding off until nearer the album release date. It’ll be playlisted by Radio One, quit worrying!

fak
I doubt the song would be much higher even if Radio 1 played it unless the chart is compiled on audience impressions. If it is compiled upon the number of times the song is played then I think it would only be played on Radio 1 from 6am-7pm monday to fridays. Most shows are 3 hours long. they would only play madonna once on each show at the most. Mighr be lucky to get 5 spins a day from them monday-to friday. from 7pm to 6am i think radio 1 plays especialist shows. they probably follow the same r similar format on weekends. if radio 1 does nt play chances are the song wont get very far as they do have a lot of listeners. 25 23 Madonna Celebration Dropping already, probably because Radio 1 isn't playing it. Whats going on?!!! It seems digital & physical release on the same day, based on what the promo CD says: September 14th. They probably want a #1 debut. This is the infamous "repressing" Mariah so often does in the US.
aeroco
Well fair enough re the itunes delay but annoying that the initial press release stated it would be released with the rest of the world. Hope their new plan works though.

Radio 1 just updated their playlist for next week, no Celebration. Radio 1 has a massive daily audience - approx 8 million. HU and Sorry were on heavy rotation on Radio 1 thats how they both managed to top the airplay and sales charts. No Radio 1 playlist, no hit. Not sure what Warners stratergy is. Hope it works.
