fak
thanks! QB there are plenty of artists who are releasing moe than 2 singles - classic example is rihanna who has released 6/7. I think there smore chance that more singles will be released as some are hitting the top 10 way before the relese. A number of artists - most recent example is Circus by Britney - are finding that songs are selling way before an official relase because they are on the album. Result of all that is - sales spread out over a longer period of time ....the peak will be lower.
fak
Danny86 you cant comapre Hollywood and GITM - they were both released in different era's , with different songs on the chart. the chart rules, behaviour changes for everyone not just for madonna. single sales were higher in 2008 than 2003. i am not sure how many people would actually buy a song that they liked a little. most people would just download it illegally. there are still plenty of other arists who are reaching high peaks because of their fans. Queen Bitch
Annie's been WHORING herself quite a bit this week, in the name of promo. Not to mention being a HYPOCRIT by crticizing Simon Cowell and TV talent shows - she was gushing at the final of the original Pop Idol and saying how she'd love to record a duet with Will Yound, when she was signed to 19 Management.
