No. Except if you add about 8 % to take into account the internet sales and/or the downloads, that are not taken into account by the Ifop, which releases every week the 200 best-selling albums chart in France. Nightshade Posted August 31, 2006 Share Posted August 31, 2006 About another additional 8,000 copies sold last week (by being number 10), for a total of about 650,000 (hard sales) since last November (almost 494,000 copies sold in 2005). On the UKMix forum, it was reported by a French member that Confessions had reached 657,821 in the spring time (possibly early summer), so I think it is safe to say it has reached 700,000 or is extremely near. Nightshade Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 Confessions has re-entered the Japanese International album chart (Oricon) at No. 10 thanks to last week's release of the "tour edition" in that country (it's No. 27 on the overall chart). We'll have to wait for Germany, last week I think it was at #57. Not much effect on other European markets, album is about to drop in Spain and Switzerland, and still gone in Austria, Norway, Finland and Sweden. It goes up in Hungary though. Enters the Czech Republic charts this week at #54 Surprisingly (or not), all 4 singles are charting in the Top 75 airplay chart On an earlier exposure round around May, it charted on airplay listings in Belarus, Chile and Latvia, before GT was confirmed as 3rd single.
