:chuckle: nice to know about Northern Ireland, but I thought it sold over 4000 last week?

Friday's midweeks take into account sales up until end of play Thursday so the % increase is a week to date figure.

Thanks for the VERY precise data.

The sale price must still be in effect, huh? I don't know what else is pushing this album in the UK right now.

Well, the albums market seems to be up 20% overall but I imagine kings of leon skew that quite a bit.

Great chart coming this week - pleased Pink is going to beat Oasis and Boyzone. (although rather worryingly the Boyzone song is quite good)

Oh dear at Will Young's single falling last week. Don't think his album will hold at number 2 either as the week progresses.

oh right... That explains it. I wouldn't dismiss the Oasis fans though as they have a huge following in the UK. But Pink's song is pretty good. Not even heard Boyzone song so obviously got the thumbs down from Radio One and just getting commercial play.

HC is at 49; GITM at 67; 4M at 113. Oasis' fans are obvious luddites, their physical sales are high in comparison to everyone elses' but no one's seems to be buying the digital release.

:dramatic: at Pink. I do believe that's the biggest jump in UK chart history, 38-1.

SURPRISED at Will Young at 2 in albums. Thought this would FLOP as hard as his ghey lisp, but I was wrong. SHAME at his last album AND first single stalling at #2 behind COAD and Hung Up respectively.

I think he is fitting into the easy listening bracket now. No longer pop, he is popular with the old ladies apparently. He is such a nice boy. The new Cliff Richard

His tour is selling well too.

Way to go Pink! Good for her. I don't think much of some of her songs but I like her and this is a good one. And anything to wipe the smile of that ape Liam with his basin haircut.
