funkydita
nice to know about Northern Ireland, but I thought it sold over 4000 last week? Friday's midweeks take into account sales up until end of play Thursday so the % increase is a week to date figure.
funkydita
Thanks for the VERY precise data. The sale price must still be in effect, huh? I don't know what else is pushing this album in the UK right now. Well, the albums market seems to be up 20% overall but I imagine kings of leon skew that quite a bit. jonski43
What chart are you using? This is the current official chart on Radio One. Are you reading it right? Pink is No. 38 this week in her first week The Oasis single is out as a physical release this week. They will piss all over Pink I think, certainly their album sales will. 1 Kings Of Leon Sex On Fire 2 Katy Perry I Kissed A Girl 3 Rihanna Disturbia 4 Pussycat Dolls When I Grow Up 5 Iglu & Hartly In This City 6 Gym Class Heroes Ft The Dream Cookie Jar 7 NEW James Morrison You Make It Real 8 NEW Sugababes Girls 9 Ne-Yo Miss Independent 10 Faith Hill There You'll Be

aeroco
Great chart coming this week - pleased Pink is going to beat Oasis and Boyzone. (although rather worryingly the Boyzone song is quite good) Oh dear at Will Young's single falling last week. Don't think his album will hold at number 2 either as the week progresses.
jonski43
oh right... That explains it. I wouldn't dismiss the Oasis fans though as they have a huge following in the UK. But Pink's song is pretty good. Not even heard Boyzone song so obviously got the thumbs down from Radio One and just getting commercial play. funkydita
HC is at 49; GITM at 67; 4M at 113. Oasis' fans are obvious luddites, their physical sales are high in comparison to everyone elses' but no one's seems to be buying the digital release. Braby
at Pink. I do believe that's the biggest jump in UK chart history, 38-1. SURPRISED at Will Young at 2 in albums. Thought this would FLOP as hard as his ghey lisp, but I was wrong. SHAME at his last album AND first single stalling at #2 behind COAD and Hung Up respectively. jonski43
I think he is fitting into the easy listening bracket now. No longer pop, he is popular with the old ladies apparently.
