fak Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 kylie is not a mother with a husband and 3 kids so she has all the time in the world to appear on every tv show plugging her stuff. giv it to me is peaking higher than wow and that is on the back of radio play alone. wow went top 10 because of a brits performance - at 1 stage it was looking like a bit of a flop. by the way is kylies next release not going to be eleigible for the charts? True - however, when Madonna was single and without child she rarely did promo for any of her number 1 singles - it was only after TAB flopped in the mid 90s that she started doing UK tv shows - TOTPs for the first time in 11 years. Whenever Kylie had a single out she was doing the rounds of countless TV shows - check out youtube for evidence. Fact is, if Madonna releases a great track it'll make the grade. I saw an ad for the album during GMTV which referred to her current single and number 1 4M. I suppose the one consolation is that it's caused the album to rebound, which, if they follow a similar strategy with singles 3 and 4 (but not fuck up on the mixes) then it should do quite well in the end. The other 'chat's shows seem to be a hybrid of comedy sketches and audience participations, a la Charlotte Church and The Sunday Night Project, so that would be a waste of time, although I'm sure they'd change their format slightly for such a massive star if she agreed to appear. There are some lovely restaurants in Ibiza town particularly up in the old castle. There is an awful gay club up in the castle called Anforra. Its hideous, they have a dark room and show porn upstairs, downstairs is a dancefloor. It gets very busy around 1am from what I remember.
