From Haven:

So far "Violet Hill" has been deemed non-chart qualified by the OCC, it'd be Top 15 in midweeks. I spoke to a colleague, this evening, he stated that a final decision for the download only track has not been reached. But on checking, with another source, I was told that both tracks by Coldplay are likely to be disqualified because of a Buy One, Get One Free new offer. So, that could be it, with "Viva La Vida", being disqualified too. I will find out more tomorrow, watch this space.....

I'm very pleased that Sam Sparrow is holding on to the Top 3 so strongly!

Why was Estelle No.1 then??? and not the more deserving B&G?

Oh, and GO MADGE!! :D

and she has a recording career, so!!

And do you know what the word SUSTAIN means?

The Kylie loons are claiming she's number 1 on physicals (way ahead of Madonna :lmao:) but because she's not doing well on downloads, it's effecting her overall chart position. They're even talking about contactin the OCC to DEMAND a change in the rules. :rotfl:

I thought that Coldplay songs wouldnt count towards sales as they have the 2 for 1 offer????? They should apply the same rule as they did with the Tesco promotion last week!

Have no fear... the concert broadcast will give 4 MINUTES and HARD CANDY a huge push...

The concert is broadcast at 21.15 on Saturday and the chart cut off point is midnight. Any effect on sales will happen next week.

Those sales are ABYSMAL - for the first time since the beginning of her career Madonna is looking like a singles act. Warners not running any ads for the album ain't helping either.

Madonna still #1 on singles/albums on Friday midweeks, but...

1 1 20.7 HARD CANDY MADONNA

NEW 2 20.2 JUMPING ALL OVER THE WORLD SCOOTER

3 3 16.3 ROCKFERRY DUFFY

5 4 10 SAM SPARRO SAM SPARRO

2 5 9.6 THIRD PORTISHEAD

UGH

Either sales are missing or we're looking for a huge drop the size of Emma Bunton's forehead...
