This marks the first time any single has entered at the top of either CHR chart in BDS history. “4 Minutes” was co-written by Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. Timberlake also co-produced the track with Timbaland and performs vocals with Madonna. The song also entered the CHR spins chart at #5, only the second song ever to debut in the Top 10 on that chart. “4 Minutes” also entered the All Format Audience chart at #2, the highest debut in the chart’s history. Hard Candy will be released in North America on Tuesday, April 29, 2008. The album features Justin Timberlake on multiple tracks and production by Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Nate “Danja” Hills. “4 Minutes” is currently the #1 selling single on iTunes while Hard Candy has the distinction of being the current best selling album on iTunes based strictly on pre-orders. The official one is here... but it's frozen for 2 weeks (says week 12 and should be 14) can't understand why... (TOP 10 OVERALL and below TOP 10 NATIONAL ARTISTS) http://www.artistas-espectaculos.com/airplay.php This chart only takes into account tracks less than 26 weeks hold... after that they get out the chart... strange...why? Radio had not stopped! Every top 40 station in Canada has added the single and it's in 1op 10 airplay at all stations now. "4 Minutes" is also the biggest one week sales! "Hung Up" was big in Canada.. however this single has been sold and played more in the first 3 weeks .. No slow down on the two formats Hot AC is all over this in Canada.. Impressive! This single has a massive near 2.3m lead AI on Top 40 and Hot AC "4 Mintues" continues to make huge gains at Canadian Adult Top 40!!! Amazing!!!!!!!! Audience between the two formats are near 13million .. roughly 130 million in the USA if you want to compare! Madonna does not have much obsticals on the Canadian Airplay for the next few weeks. Digital Sales are very impressive. Strong hold on #1 "4 Minutes" is #1 for a third week on the Canadian Hot 100... Expect the same thing next week!
