eroticromance
The video needs to be released NOW and she needs to do a bit of promo in the UK otherwise it could drop a few places next week. I don't think she will drop until the airplay goes up. The video, the promotion and the physical sales are not so far...

Brisy_Boy
approximately 20% in the top 20. lower down the chart much less. But it all depends on the artists... A Madonna single will certainly be at least 40% sales from Physical single on the week of release, especially since the digital single was released already. Her physical single is for pre-order on HMV.co.uk for a few days now and it's always #01 or #02 there on the TOP Singles wich is very promising On the Coming Soon Top 10 (that only includes sinlges not yet released) it's #01 (CD Single) / #06 (picture disc 12") / #08 (12" 2 ls special packaging)... this do show how massive is going to be... I haven't ordered yet but I will order online here too
Queen Bitch
It's peak will be number 3 - there's no way she'll overtake Sam Sparro or Estelle. They were playing a chart run down on one of the music channels on Saturday and they itnroduced Sam Sparro by saying that, unlike Madonna, this one has a video. Shit strategy by Warners. aeroco
Not good news. Exact sales figures are not out yet but 4M is not marked with a sales increase on the music week website, despite a climb of 2 places. But....If her downloads hover around 20k until the physical release she could have a shout at number 1 if she manages 20k on physical. At the moment though Estelle is flying away and will have sold over 70k this week to be number 1. Her sales will fall back so we will have to hope no other record will be released that takes off in the way Estelle has.
aeroco
52 53 19 Britney Spears Blackout 59 40 18 Kylie Minogue X And unlike X-crement, Blackout wasn't in the BARGAIN BINS 2 months after release. Don't be ridiculous, Blackout was £5 in January and has still only managed half the sales of X in the UK. Nice to see you acknowledge X was not reduced until February as you previously posted millions of times that X was in the bargain bins from day one. Thank you for correcting yourself (for once). debord
While 'X' has obviously sold more than 'Blackout' (edit: in the UK!), 'Blackout' was only a fiver for one week in January and then went back up. 'X' has been hovering around that price for ages now.

I listened to the Estelle track in full over the weekend and it's really not that good, the HOOK however is IRRESISTIBLE and that's what will keep it selling. 'X' has been hovering around that price for ages now. X was reduced to £5 or £6 in the week of the Brits and spent 4 weeks in the top 25 as a result. Prior to that point it had already sold 330k in the UK. It has passed 400k this week. Blackout has yet to pass 200k, at any price, although this is surprising as her singles have done well. Carta
4M is doing very nicely in the UK so far. There's no video, it's only been on the air for two weeks and it hasn't had anywhere near the exposure that the singles above it have had so far. It's amusing that people are saying that its performance so far is cause for concern!

The Brits saw its permanent reduction in the major outlets. but it was already heavily reduced in places like Amazon before that. As I said, yes it's sold more than 'Blackout', but it's hardly a fair comparison given that Kylie has promoted the arse out of an album which is still considered a commercial disappoint for her whereas Britney has done sod all.
