Hey petey, you liking the new Mika?
-
Hey, loomy! Nice to hear from you! I didn't know the new Mika was out -- I heard there was a collab with Pharrell called "Celebrate" or something. I listened to it on YouTube and forgot about it! I did like "Elle Me Dit" -- that French single that came out forever ago -- but it's still not out in the U.S. :/ Thanks for the reminder; I'll have to look into it. I know not many around here are into his stuff. I'm off for MDNA in D...

Bytch did u c Patti live? Oh my god, she's unbelievable. You really need to catch her if you can, the new album is cool indeed but she left the hits till last! She also mentioned Pussy Riot twice, including a shock R&R Nigra. That Marina film was out last month, one I overlooked I shall use your link. I need to get that Neneh album as I love the sound of Dream Baby Dream. Now is when all the great albums and films start coming!

Yeah I think I will actually! It has Oscar buzz according to Not4Pussies and it sounds good anyway. I wanna see the Kylie film as well, Holy Motors, lol. Tabu is another one - http://tinyurl.com/d4hvhta

Anna Karenina out in a week or so, will give it a miss! Intouchables is out soon! Can't wait.. this is one I had heard about and I think I tried the Edinburgh Film Festival with no luck, now with your glowing review and the universal acclaim I'm even more interested. It's a shame it came out the same time as The Artist which overshadowed it, I bet this is better.
-
I don't buy DVDs, but The Intouchables is definitely one that's worth getting. So far, it's my favorite movie of this year! Ugh, don't remind me about that overrated piece of shit, aka The Artist. There are a few movies that came out this year that I still need to see; The Dark Knight Rises and Brave are probably on top of the list.
-
I also really want to see this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2073029/ but can't find it anywhere at this point. Also want to see the one coming very soon with Gere and Sarandon; loving that "80s style thriller" description.

MadFan u slut r u goin 2 TIFF?
-
Right I've just had a look at the programme and man that's a fuck load of films! So the top ones are: The Master, The Sessions (probably not much fun though!), To the Wonder and Amour. I'd probably avoid Hyde Park on the Hudson as it looks boring as fvck, but it's also very much in the frame. Then there's Rust and Bone a personal must see of mine, Argo, On the Road (though who needs that when there's the legendary book!), Seven Psychopaths + others too.
-
But don't just take my word for it! Check out the buzz and shit, all of those are taken from the Awards Circuit blog, and TIFF is kinda the testing ground for Oscar when the season kicks off. But those could just as easily be Oscar flops as well. I imagine at such a festival there's a quality threshold and pretty much everything in the less well known films looks good as well. Oh and see Janets of the Southern Wild too! <3

lmfao @ your Jay-Z status. lol yes GU was added but ages ago.. um. I thought the show was very good and a nice return to the darkness of DW after the fluff of SS (thank fuck Jamie Queen is gone). But I was absolutely heartbroken the bitch came on so late and LAV (a highlight supposedly) and even worse I'm Addicted were cut. I bet the opening night was just orgasmic though!

Yeah, alas it's really all about that Gold Circle - which looks tiny higher up, like they can barely fit anyone in it! Plus I love the fact they got to see a rehearsal early, I thought that Confessions video where she chided fans in Holland or whatever at a sound check was a one off, didn't know that was a regular occurrence. The cut songs really put a dampener on things for me, having those would kind of made the night more complete, something felt missing...

like she was going thru the motions and all I heard was how how rubbish it was from people when going out. Bit of an anti-climax after 25 years for her first performance in Scotland, I'd waited so long. Yes, Candy Shop and Vogue were fabulous, the definitive DykeDonna! TUTR was neutered by that bloody guitar, the audience were gasping for bangers and the most dancey MDNA songs would at least work well.
-
ICAM re: Revulva, ugh.. and as the second song as well? Bad move. People were looking around like wtf, am I at the right place? That talentless Bitchney Tears autotune crap is something even her hardcore fans couldnβt hum. Quite embarrassing as a fan. Fuck whether it fit the theme! At most, that should have been a short snippet.

Hey Kimmy, what did you make of Murrayfield?

I know! I never knew either, im sure I read it here on a WTG thread, but being in a park, I guess the sellout figure could just expand as needed. It's just kind of sad that Madge doesn't have that touring history in Scotland that allows the majority to appreciate that evolution. They're still waiting for their 25 years too late WTG Tour

Downloading is very wise, good you're still able to with all the crackdowns lately. I have an Unlimited Cinema card which essentially means I get into the cinema for as many times as I want for free, but it seems this is limited to the UK/Ireland and Cineworld chains. If you're in London's West End you'll notice everyone in the queue has one!

As for this, well yes and no. I love Joe Wright and am a huge fan of Atonement, that was an amazing adaptation but this..? Seems so unnecessary! They have to resort to old Tolstoy? And there's no way I'm watching it till I've read the epic book, I have a thing about classic lit. Cast is meh, I like Aaron Johnson, but boring old Jude can get lost and I don't understand his fixation with muse Ikea Knightley. The girl is gorgeous but that's about it. Blah.

Is it just me or is TimeBOMB - the last part being the operative word and suitably named after a LULU skincare range this time instead of a Liz Taylor perfume - the most FLAGRANT poison dwarf Madonna rip-off since the (Strike a Pose) Let's Get To It Tour? Still, at least her PIERCING tones are dialled down a bit this time. Over at RETARD CENTRAL they actually prefer Aphrodite to MDNA. Thank god I left that cesspit.

looms, I haven't heard this abominable song all the way through, but any similarity can't lie with the diminutive dodo of pop, I mean we all know the bitch CAN'T READ OR WRITE. Shady Gaga's antics have nothing on her when it comes to copying Madge but no-one cares when ur LOCAL. I once posted over at that SHITPIT and got a message saying an admin would need to approve my posts. Not surprisingly, my ripping apart of the rapidly ageing fembot cuntoids over there NEVER SHOWED UP.

barneyboy thx ever so much for that alternate link to certain illicit site. Though you may want to delete your post in the m/upload thread. I'm always paranoid BPI types look at these sites! Was gonna ask to move the torrent. I wish I never updated bitt0rrent as it asked though - added a bloody nightmare toolbar, argh! Still these are the risks.
