  1. So they just confirmed me i've been selected to be part of the audience on the 24th of February...M will probably be on the 26th right? So close :(

I know for Jonathan Ross 2003, Parkinson 2005, and Graham Norton 2012, they announced Madonna as the guest before tickets were available. This was to ensure only fans were in the audience to give the show a bit more atmosphere. But who knows...

  2. ^ He's right. I've always said this but Living For Love is a Radio 1 record being played on Radio 2 which is really odd.

If the lead single was something like Joan of Arc, then I could understand, but there's no reason why Radio 1 can't pop this on their C-list for a week (and prove they are willing to support older acts).

As a public service broadcaster, they will have to release some kind of statement soon if all this continues. Which will be very interesting indeed!

  3. More UK promo for The Queen. This article from the Daily Express on February 5th. Madonna on his show in a "few weeks time". I'm thinking either Saturday Feb 21 or 28.

Host of the evening Jonathan Ross was in rebellious mood as he told the Downton Abbey table: “You guys get singled out in my opening remarks as being the only A-listers in the room but sadly with Shane Richie being here it’s dragged us all down to the B-list.”

Wossy, 54, also made a cheeky reference to his chat-show rivals when speaking to us at the event held at Village Underground, London: “I think I’m here because Graham Norton was unavailable. Or Stephen Fry was busy.”
The ITV presenter said he is preparing for a special guest on his show: “In a few weeks we’ve got Madonna on.
"She’ll probably try to get me back to her bedroom afterwards as she always does.”

  4. WWHL!?????

    Someone find that list!!!!!

    This was the list:

Came across this in the Madonna-Infinity forum. Taking it with a grain of salt so far.

    LA
    Ellen (pre-taping on 12 February)
    LONDON
    Hotel - Today show (24 & 25 February)
    Cynthia McFadden (25 February)
    NYC
The View (pre-taping on 5 March)
Today with Matt Lauer (pre-taping on 6 March)
    Howard Stern (10 March)
Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (10 March)
Watch What Happens: Live (11 March)
    NYC
Late Show with David Letterman (20 May)

Can someone in the US confirm that Madonna will be on The View in early March? ABC have an on-demand service don't they? The announcement supposedly took place during Friday's episode - have a look!

Watch What Happens Live doesn't get great ratings, but like all Bravo shows, hits its demographic well (young women and gay men!). Oprah was the only guest when she appeared on the show, so Madonna wouldn't necessarily be sitting next to a Housewife (although someone like Nene Leakes all kinds of :wow:).

  5. Yeah, the guests are strictly C and D list for the majority of the time BUT it's interesting how Wendy can hold an audience for 20 minutes every day just on her own with her Hot Topics. The show is essentially built around her, and not any guests. Even the late night comedians can't do that with their monologues (imagine if they were talking for 20 minutes - people would turn off). I know some people think Wendy is toxic as a person (I personally love her), but boy can she command an audience :wow:.

  6. The View gets about the same ratings as an average episode of any of the late night talk shows (well slightly more than Letterman and Kimmel, less than Fallon), with around 3 million viewers. So I don't see why people are complaining. Madonna's done daytime TV loads of times before anyway (Anderson, The View, Oprah, Ellen etc.).

  7. Snapchat streams don't count towards Billboard as far as I know. BUT Snapchat has wanted to be a content provider for Vevo for some time (it was revealed in the Sony leak), and there were talks that both Spotify AND Vevo would be incorporated into Snapchat in some way.

Of course premiering your new video on Snapchat has never been done before, so maybe there's a good reason why she's chosen it instead of YouTube/Vevo. Plus, Billboard got the exclusive about the video, so maybe there's something chart-related in all of this. :wow:

  8. From Billboard just now:

Exclusive: Madonna to Premiere 'Rebel Heart' Music Video on Snapchat Discover Today

Today, Madonna is set to premiere the first music video from her new album, Rebel Heart, on Snapchat, the picture messaging app that was recently valued at $10 billion. The video accompanies "Living for Love," the album's first single, and will be viewable on the app's "Snap Channel."

The Inside Story of How Madonna Turned Her 'Rebel Heart' Leak Into a Global Hit
It's been a rocky album campaign for the pop star, 56, who has endured two devastating album leaks, the second of which happened on Monday and included the 25-track deluxe version. Rebel Heart will go on sale Tuesday, March 10th, after Madonna performs at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 8th, and the Brit Awards on Feb. 25th.
The video was directed by the French duo Julien Choquart and Camille Hirigoyen, together known as J.A.C.K., was edited by longtime Madonna collaborator Danny B. Tull, and styled by B. Akerlund -- who also works wth Beyonce, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga. It was choreographed by Megan Lawson.
To state the obvious, it's a major coup for the three-year-old Snapchat, which boasts an estimated 200 million users. CEO Evan Spiegel made headlines during last year's Sony hack when a series of uncovered e-mails revealed that he was at work on an in-app music feature, including negotiations with Vevo to bring music video viewing inside Snapchat's interface. Those talks reported stalled, but the music feature being discussed was likely tied to Discover, which was announced last month.
Discover feeds news and entertainment from 12 different companies directly to the user. Participating organizations include Warner Music Group, National Geographic, People magazine, ESPN and Vice, who enlist editors to select stories (which can include photo essays and videos) that are shared and refreshed every 24 hours.
