Agree. It's a nice dance track but nothing of uniqueness (nerve and talent) of Madame X
Agree with both you and Sotos8!
Madame X knows the difference between having a fun moment and making a lasting impact.

For the first time, I feel the ‘featuring’ artists are really part of the songs and this album. They’re just no ‘guests’. This is part of the diversity of this album and the idea of Madame X. No wonder their enlisted as M & (artist name).
Can’t wait for the full thing now.

I think its just you.
For me the album is just like RH. Amazing and versatile. From reggy Sounds to cha cha beats...
Just him? He’s not alone, baby!

Sometimes songs are over produced. Not saying any of these are as i love all 4 especially Medellin and Crave but the theory of a simple track like this isn’t quality is not fair as many great songs have simple production and a hit( or a song like this i keep on repeat) is much harder to produce than an over produced album filler in my opinion.
It’s obviously intentional to be “basic”and a dance floor filler i guess we are craving to dance!
I totally understand your point and I agree with you.

Starting to form a picture now, as a complete work.
I love them all - she's clearly just let herself really experiment with different sounds. Even her voice is different on each track, even using a slight accent. She really is a genius.
I'm so pumped for this album.
+1!

Soltera is a really good and fun bop, but comparing it to Future and/or Medellín (let alone Mirwais) is downright silly! Production on Soltera is quite basic and flat. MadameX is a wall of sounds!

I'm absolutely in love with Future!!! It reminds me of all the reggae artists from the 70s and 80s like Barrington Levy, Sister Nancy etc. and their songs that always seem to sound best on some pirate radio station. She's done a great job adapting to new rhythms and melodies with this album (thanks to Starrah) and it's been a thrill to hear!!! Everyone really shines on this track - Madonna, Diplo, Starrah and Quavo - I just wish his part was longer cuz he sounds great
Yaaas to all of this!

I have just heard "Future".
It's the darker and wiser cousin of "Unapologetic Bitch". I love her vocal effects which gave distinctive character to the song, the overall mood of the song conjures up images of disoriented people walking in the streets of a busy city, it is not overdone, everything is in the right dose.
NOT a song for basic gaycunts.
This is NOT a song for basic people! TRUTH!

I know it's actually a true statement (sadly) but I will never get why Madonna and hip-hop is so offputting to some people. This implication she doesn't deserve or qualify for a place at the table. It's literally like she must be placed in a box and stay there. She's right when she says people are outraged that she's still around, not dead, not an addict, thriving.
Why is it a “true statement”?
It’s at best a subjective statement, far removed from being a universal truth.
The person who wrote the article could learn some good manners and some bits of professionalism. To say that she is far from her prime is a poor and sad way of articulating his/her thought about the lyrics of the song. These people are just bad, bad, bad! No need to say more.

It must be hard to perform, dancing and moving around, with just one eye and of course nobody mentions it because she makes it look so easy and effortless.
Madame X is ready to slay!

Some of you are fucking disgusting btw. Bitching about every little thing. Many of you simply don't deserve any new music whatsoever. Go join an MJ or Prince forum where all they do is sit around and talk about their old releases and what it would be like if they were still here churning out new music.
Just don't know how good you have it! Ungrateful fucks.

The lyrics are really good!
She is so right: "Not everyone is coming to the future!"
This is a political statement and as usual she's doing in the least expected way! You go, MadameX!
It will be very interesting to see how she does the transition from Dark Ballet to Future tomorrow night! Can't wait!

she has been experimenting a lot. I love the fact that she hasn't made an album to please the masses. Future sounds very interesting and i don't think it's everyone's cup of tea.

Anyone notice the Don't Tell Me references in the verses?
Yup! It's there!

I like it a lot! She is really going for those "4th chakra opening" frequencies with this and Medellin!
The bridge towards the end is her magic touch...as always! Queen of bridges!

Did anyone manage to download it? I missed it.

Italian ANSA (one of the main news agencies in Italy) issued a statement this morning, where it was written that M has indeed signed the contract and that she will perform on Saturday. The news came in at 10 am.
