i prefer GMAYL, but that doesnt say much, because I never liked 4 minutes and still think its the weakest song on HC. However GMAYL continues to sound childish, a song Hanna Montana would record. Its not a bad song, it sticks in your mind, but I hope she has much more strong songs on MDNA.

why is madonna preparing 3 months for a show 12 minutes long full of guests and 1 month for her own 2 hours tour? This Superbowl must be magical.

rol didnt sel 400 k. it was smth like 372 k? but it ended up outselling most of her albums and it wasnt even number 1. quality always sells with m. i think the word of mouth also sold coadf. if she delivers she ll sell.

A friend of mine saw it in London and said it was great. He isnt a Madonna fan, he is Mariahs. So I suspect its great.

Similarities between ROL and MDNA:
Before releasing both albums she wins Golden Globe for movie projects
Both lps are released 4 years after the previous album
Footages from the recording sessions of both albums are released and the public can see the creative process
The previous albums are influence by r'n'b and see her following a trend rather than creating it
The previous albums are not failures, but are not regarded as among her best albums
She looks happy around the time of the realease of both albums
Both lps are co-produced with Orbit
The people obviously want to hear the new albums (she appears in the most anticipated lps lists)
Both albums are released around the same time
The first single of both albums is a big surprise for the fans and the sound is unexpected
The first singles are performed at San Remo (eventually it would be the case for MDNA)
Both albums can be described as combination of light and dark
Do we have more similarities?

All of the above were forgettable images, akward looking... Especially HC photoshoot. Bea manged to make Madonna look 65. I dont know why she chose her again. Was it an favour to Jonas?

GMAYL sounded totally Solveig. I fear Solveigs material would be weak (though his Smash had great moments like Lets's Not Play Games, which sounds like William Orbits ROLish track:
) and I base my oppinion on GMAYL and Birthday Songs snippet, both of which sound childish (although infectious).But I believe Orbits material would make up for it, if Masterpiece is any indication.

i really didnt want to be a jackass but i had so much fate in this album tnx to the names attached to it and nothing has lived up till now to the expectations. I wanted something more mature and I still hope the album would be such.

I didnt like the snippet. The song sounds very repetitive and lacks melody (thats what I get from this part). It has nothing to do with True Blue and alot to do with Give It To Me. I dont think Madonna got the message since ROL: she need strong pop songs, not inovative production. I hope the album is nothing like this.

I agree. HC was deffinately not bad album. It was fun, its much better (for me) than AL, Music and BS. I loved most of the song on it minus 4 minutes. It was so not Madonna.

madonna herself said that masterpiece would be on the record. i doubt that at that time she didnt hear the finished version of masterpiece and the other songs. its a rumour. i hope masterpiece is included because i think that if its the orchestra version it will be a killer.
