I love the guitar! and im happy she wont stop playing it....
....her shows are always full of dance routines/coreography...., so i dont understand the bitching about guitar. Do people think she doesnt dance as much because she prefers to play guitar? The guitar maybe have replaced sitting down moments, ballads, or interaction. or whatever other trick she used to do to catch a breath.....but dancing heavily is about the only thing that hasnt change. (well, maybe not in DWT)

i love how everyone complains, as if they have already seen the tour, shut the fuck up already

I'm still don't believe it, but i would be awsome!!!!!!
some people say that we should not believe pollstar...one can only hope

for me its more about the musical arrangement, GS was the best one sonically. dont care where the vocals come from, but i dont wanna hear the boring original arrangement...
-
^^ I agree .. and please i would love to see these imaginary empty rooms as she sings ROL .. instead of the 15 000 jumping like crazy ...
and please stop acting like you represent the average fans.. or you KNOW ... we are all clearly OBSESSED the "average fan" is not having this discussion on a message board Saturday afternoon.. they are content when they hear a song on the radio .. they are thinking I hope she sings Dont Tell Me ~ just ask someone outside your tiny circle sometime.
they are not bitcing that she released the wrong single .. or not doing enough promo ... they are NOT checking mediasbase 5 times day to follow GI2M and CAPPING FLOP every other post. 80% per cent of the show is NOT thinking PLEASE i paid $$ don't sing any of your biggest hits I was told off by some gay guys of a madonna blog ... that VOGUE is so OVER !! Next.

LOL its funny and pathetic at the same time
-
I'm really sick of seeing her with a guitar. It's pathetic.
i didnt say, madonna on guitar, i just said a rock version!
now tell me u dont like the LAP album intro?
-
Exactly. I'm not excited about LAP, It will be like the acoustic version of RIT, wich was lame.
i hope its a rock version, with the guitar intro extended
-
OK, so.....everybody hates the setlist..GREAT
is anyone from the haters from Canada ?
i need a ticket, preferrably for the montreal concert, toronto will work as well, please, sell it to me! (im serious)
-
i like it, not the stupid break, i agree, its really lame, but overally i like it, especially the end with the a new level riff..dimebag would be proud (ok, maye not )
-
even if its been performed over and over and over and over again, Latin America will go NUTS when they hear La Isla, and I wish i can attend one the shows so i can witness that.
-
Already told you, it went over quite well... Pantera riffs make any song work.
I know, its funny even Pantera fans did respected her "rendition" more than M fans
i for one LOVED it and would love to see it on tour, maybe she can have a different riff every night from different rock bands? (LOL, like if thats possible) just dreaming
-
ha ha ha...you people are comical! You all act like this setlist is a big suprise. I told you all the setlist would be like her latest tours...mostly predictable and a heavy focus on newer material. Whether we like it or not Madonna has a BIG DISDAIN for her early material, whether she admits it or not. She'll never do a concert chock full of her great oldies...it's never gonna happen. She always throws one little bone to her fans for each concert...and this time it's "Borderline" and the rest is songs from her new album and the newer predictable hits she's been performing for a while now (LAB, ROL, Music, HU). I guarentee Jamie King had to do some pretty mighty talking just to get her to perform "Borderline". She has never cared what fans want or think, that's just the way it is. I would like a lot of her older material performed to but it's never gonna happen.
errr...did you miss the reinvention tour?
-
M knows how to put a show, i would never question that, so, i bet we're gonna love it
-
I doubt it too.... I just love how everyone was all PLEASE MADONNA VISIT!!! and now that she is they start bitching they want more dates
yes, 2 dates is better than nothing, but i guess we all madonna fans are like this, we cant get enough, we want MORE!!!
but well, they are hardly bitching, they are just asking, no harm there
-
oh a concert in those cities would be great, but highly unlikely....well, we never know!
-
SHIT
i dont even have a fucking credit card, i hope there's a fan that would sell me his spare ticket for a reasonable price, i accept houston tickets as well (wishful thinking, i know, im fucked!)
-
and wear a mariachi hat again
yessss, we love when she does cheesy things like that, but the best is im sure she's gonna keep swearing in spanish all night long 'cause we know that is all she knows "Les gusta mi culito?" "PUTAS"
-
I can accomodate. Hot guys that is ha!
I live like 30 minutes away from Foro Sol and 25 from Estadio Azteca, right in the middle!
And of course I'm planning on attending both dates!
I'm so excited! It's the second time I'm seeing Madonna live. I wasn't able to during TGS because I was too little. But I was able to during RIT in Paris.
And anyone who says mexican crowds will be boring is just plain stupid. Madonna has the biggest following here in Mexico.
It will be amazing unless she decides to do a Drowned World Tour 2 and only do boring songs no one knows hehe.
I said that, but i didnt say it because i think we mexicans are boring...... my concern was that mainly because when a major artist perform in Mexico, EVERYONE wants to go, and the concert ends up with a boring crowd that dont know any of her songs and expect her to sing material girl and like a virgin.... This is what i heard it happened in the Girlie Show. But still, i wanna go no matter what.
-
Well Fabian, lets go to the show in Mexico City and we can take care of cheering for Madonna then she will notice us and loves us more than anyone else
Soy de Mexicali btw
the north rulz!
Watching Madonna in my own country would be a dream, the only reason i hesitate is because of the crowd, but who cares? i survived Arnhem and Amsterdam. Ok, i ill do my best to go to both
-
i wanna go to houston!!!! the bad thing is that i dont even know where will i be by then. hopefully somewhere in mexico so i can make it.
-
I'll go to Houston. Where are you from Fabian?
Monterrey. Both Mexico city and Houston seem just as far. Mexico city is just more convenient cause i have where to stay and cheap airlines but im afraid of the ticket selling and the potentially boring crowd......if i save enough i might go to both (thats might be crazy considering how expensive the tickets can be from re-sellers, from which i think i will end up buying them at the end)
-
should i go to Houston or Mexico City?
i fear the mexican audience will be boring since most people will be non-fans that just want to go there out of curiosity
-
Just because the album isn't selling as well as expected doesn't mean Madonna is over. Come on, get real. Someone like Madonna who has been such an influential figure in pop culture over the past 25+ years will NEVER truly be over. All artists experience slumps in sales, but i'm sure all you drama queens were saying she was over too when "American Life" flopped but M came back more successful than ever and proved the nay-sayers wrong. I think "Hard Candy" has 1 or 2 singles that can be huge over here though, but Madge just has to actually promote her s*it and stop focusing all her attention on touring, flop films and flop children's books .
i agree! Do you guys think that TV promo can really do something? it did nothing for janet, kylie..... and even Mariah's single was not benefited at all from all her appeareances.
