I don´t think it was "allowed", is not that easy to stop a thing like this from happening., Especially in a country as big as Russia. But it´s strange that the killers were ISIS.I mean, I didn´t know that Russia has problems with them (or them with russia)

I have trouble believing they are behind it.. if no one is immediately suspected they're always the first to claim it, as it obviously makes them appear very powerful (even if it's russia..)

Are you disgusted at me or at the police destroying a mural of murdered people (

The video disgusts me. Everything going on in Gaza (and many other places) disgusts me. People being heartless disgust me. It's as if everyone got desensitized.

Im mostly just disappointed that you'd think such awful things about me.

I’m sure that person here horrified because someone took away the pictures of the hostages will clutch their pearls about this too :lmao:

Disgusting. This is serious. It's about human lives. There's nothing funny about this or any of what you just said.

You’re already broken / tired of this because you’ve seen it on the internet over the past few weeks while in the comfort of your lovely, western home. I’m so, so sorry 😢

seeing your responses tells me you don't give a single fuck about any of what's going on.

this is NOT about me and you don't know anything about my life, so Im not even going to respond to such a pathetic comment (the people here who know me know what im talking about and have my back for A REASON. maybe keep that little fact in mind!) these personal attacks are totally uncalled for and only self serving to win an argument online and make yourself feel better. so here you go: pat yourself on the back! bravo!! a true activist!!

Block that thing. With thousands of children dead and thousands amputated I don’t have time for soulless racists. Just block.

I block that person yesterday because frankly, to avoid the genocide and to be shocked at that it shows what kind of human being that person is.

    THAT THING??

What? If anything Im overly sensitive about what is going on! Im tired of this war, both online and in gaza! You're trying SO HARD to hate me or paint a picture of me when deep down you know it's BULLSHIT. All Im doing is sharing what I find and trying to educate MYSELF. ALL people need to be protected during this war. that's it!

Unfortunately there's been a very deliberate effort to conflate all Jewish people around the world with the state of Israel, with Jewish people who are critical of, or opposed to, Israeli apartheid or Zionism itself called 'antisemitic' and 'self-hating'. The IHRA definition does this itself. So for a lot of folk who don't pay much attention, they just see that to be Jewish is to support Israel. I think it's more important than ever for the diverse range of Jewish voices to be amplified and accepted to break that link and make people understand that to be Jewish doesn't mean you necessarily support Israel in the slightest.

Yeah, there's been many jewish people protesting against the war who are being attacked by the israeli army or supporters of israel for speaking out against it.

The posters have nothing to do with the families. They were made by Israeli artists living in New York and, as I said, the site the posters directs you to raises money for the European Jewish Association. How is that helping the hostages?

If people responded to the October 7th attacks by plastering posters everywhere showing the murder and mistreatment of Palestinians at the hands of Israelis, would you be absolutely fine with that? I mean many of the folk angry about the posters being torn down seem to get very upset when people just wave a Palestinian flag in public.

thanks for being kind.. I didn't know those were propaganda posters. I keep thinking how i'd feel if my loves ones pictures were torn to shreds. I just get so sad seeing all the hatred for jewish people. of course, I feel with the Palestinians, of course Im against the war, but I think people are forgetting about the jewish people who are being targeted now in places like Paris, NYC, universities, and so many other places.. they're treated like dirt.. there's swastikas and jewish stars on the homes of jewish families.. just think it's all very scary

  8. 3 minutes ago, debord said:

Not all the people whom Hamas killed or took hostage were Jewish. And the people who keep reducing this to 'targeted for being Jewish' are so ridiculous and I'd say very antisemitic - do Israel forces murder Palestinians because of their religion or ethnicity, then? Or is it perhaps the occupation that's actually the issue?

I personally don't agree with tearing down those posters because it's counter-productive but the reason they're being torn down is because they're propaganda intended to win support for the unfolding genocide. I mean why on earth would you be posting missing posters in Europe and the USA? They have QR codes which take you to a propaganda site where you can donate money to the European Jewish Association. How is that helping bring the hostages home?

And the families in Israel seem more upset about the blanket bombing, which has already murdered quite a few of the hostages, than about the posters. They've been calling on the Israeli government to enter negotiations for weeks now.

I thought they were hung up by their families who are abroad... I didn't even know they were used for propaganda reasons with qr codes!

No. I am not okay at all as I’ve said many times. Get lost. Do not write me again.

WHAT HAVE I SAID THAT'S WRONG????????

I really don't belong in this world. Im so tired of the lack in empathy for specific groups of people. ive had it.

  10. 1 minute ago, karbatal said:

You are disgusting if you don’t mind thousands of children dead and only post stupidity. I’ve always considered you absurd and this finally makes me block you forever.

So you're OKAY with jewish people once again being targeted and seen as evil? with the antisemitism going on? Where is the empathy for them??? there's POSTERS being torn of INNOCENT PEOPLE!!!?? I keep thinking what about the people who get no sympathy online, they are being VILIFIED!!! Ive cried so many times about this the past few days and still am because once again it's not acceptable to show empathy for those who don't get any online! what if one of those hostages was one of your family members and you see their pictures being torn to shreds????? how can anyone be okay with this???

  11. girls tearing down posters of the hostages are getting praise online.. tweets saying there are "no innocent Israelis" are getting so many likes.. I can't believe the antisemitism I'm seeing. wanting palestine to be free doesn't mean you have to generalise an entire population of jewish people value them worthless. young and ignorant people are so disappointing. Im so tired of this world.. I don't understand people anymore. there's so much hate. just IMAGINE if one of your kids was one of those hostages. they wouldn't only be tortured, they'd be hated on by hundreds of thousands of people..

It is truly sad that a person's harmless act of celebrating, dancing, and voguing at a gas station resulted in such a tragic outcome. The loss of a life for simply expressing joy through dance.. if he were a straight guy dancing to typical hip hop or rock music nothing would've happened.

Ive noticed there's barely media coverage about this.

Madonna's dancers took to their Instagram accounts to share this news a while ago. if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have known

  13. The strongest possibility is an implosion as they found debris; it happened instantly, so they probably never realised.

I saw the inside of a dutch submarine. It looks so much more professional compared to the titan one..

what's fascinating is how eerie it is.. Depth/being all alone/losing communication..

there was a similar (but more positive) story that got almost no attention. a cook who worked on a ship who was the only survivor in a sunken ship; by rare chance, he found a place where the water didn't reach. he was there for almost a week and got SAVED. There's footage of it.

I wish Madonna knew someone in her team is paying 8 dollars a month to Elon Musk for a stupid blue check while all the cool people have told him to fuck off

that's the first thought that popped in my head. those celebs who DONT pay will be the cool kids.

her team is full of contradictions. on the one hand, they're so behind and slow with so many things. on the other hand, they're the first pay Elon and get into NFTs..

then again, if im not mistaken, Oseary is pals/befriends him, so that's probably the reason

We are commenting on TWO issues here: Balenciaga and that Belgian painter. The comments about Renaissance and art are about the painter, NOT about Balenciaga

Thanks for pointing that out (and for the other reply! Always love to see room for discussion ❤️)

My comments were about the painter, not balenciaga, who i believe wanted to provoke for publicity. Theyve been trash for years.

Art is one thing but glorifying abuse is another. That painter can fuck off

Where's the glorifying of abuse? They're paintings of naked children. The Italian Renaissance, Rubens (Borremans' biggest inspiration) DaVinci, Botticelli, Velazquez, El Greco,V. D Weyden..  so many with paintings of nude children. Many of these are some of the most incredible works of art ever made.

if we go this route, might as well burn all the museums and churches down.. just ban all historic art that shows nudity

Borremans is an incredible painter. Art is supposed to be strange and make people think. I cant with gen z and do many people on social media looking to get offended these days. Not everything is literal. Sorry but.. since when are the youth so fucking prude?

This feels like the conservative alt right jumping in with their usual “wont somebody please think of the children” anti sex and homophobic “propaganda”. Dont fall for it.
