Madame X is such a brilliant album. Thanks to it, I can literally transpose my joyful or sad memories into every song. The melancholy is present in the whole album, which allows us to remember different moments of our life. I think it's a special album. You have to be in a certain mood to be able to listen to it but once you do that, it's amazing!

The atrocity that True Blue, Who's That Girl, Like A Prayer was over overlooked for the 80s!! That said pretty much... As much as they denied "Take A Bow" for Record and Song of The Year that year, I just want to punch the academy in their face!!!
But then, its throughout these snubs year after year that I've now became - the academy can award whoever they see fit with their gold - a meaningless, totally biased award show under the disguise of being a peer voting award show.... yeah, when those peer of yours are all towards teenage music!!!
Lady gaga can now get 9 awards throughout her short lifespan of 10 years, shamelessly campaigning for that grammys/oscars.... to me, the once coveted now becomes covered with shit and dust - and this is by no means of sour grapes... just that it made me open my eyes - witnessing the industry manipulating people for these awards or vice versa... there's no merit or validity anymore.... all just goes down the drain....

A dinky 30 minute documentary just tossed , without promo, on Amazon. She could have done a major two hour documentary film and promoted it's release as well
Rebel Heart had an EXCELLENT promo campaign
Hell even MDNA had a better promo push than MX
I still have yet even really SEEN all those MX personas she was carrying on about

The RIAA is investigating chart fraud and manipulation which probably stems from an investigation by a Norwegian (?) Team who said Kanye's streaming figures were impossible. Basically, streams from other smaller artists appear to have been credited to Drake, Kanye and Beyonce which is theft.
I hope some light comes out from it and if the musicians were really guilty for such an under table act, they should be deserving punished for theft and fraud and making the public believed their achievement... in this day and age, I believed anything is possible and hope justice serves its purpose...

She won't win a thing. And that's the war we want it as one day, they'll ask be exposed as the frauds they are.
I recalled I saw an article on Billboard about RIAA called for an investigation about musicians buying their way for airplay or something.... playing under table games to garner hits for themselves... hopefully they will be out for a full investigation for fraud.... don't big organizations have audits? Such as Grammys, the various record companies....

Yes, I'm hopeful but at the same time prepared for disappointment so it's 50-50... that said, winning also means acknowledging Madonna and her team, Mirwais, Mike Dean and her producers, engineers and most importantly, Martha Graham.... for her inspiration and giving Madame X her name.

The Grammys have lost their credibility long ago.... but for justice's sake, I want Madame X to shine as it is her time!!! But I told myself repeatedly to be ready for the upsets and disappointment more than any surprises, that way, you could maintain some cool (at the very least)...

Btw, I still feel that God Control - the song is more worthy to be submitted for Record of The Year and Song of The Year rather than Crave....
