Comparing this with Batuka is... no comment Music is in my top 5 M songs ever. And it's actually A SONG, unlike Batuka.

She sounds amazing in this song! There isn’t even that much auto tune. Her voice sounds a bit nasal but in my opinion it just makes the song that much more eccentric and interesting. The drums always put me in a trance and I never want it to end. But to each their own I guess. I’m just sharing my perspective with you why I like this song so much.
...and my perspective with you why I don't like it very much and I skip it. I like the message, the instrumental, the video and the ending, I just don't like hearing 6 minutes of the same thing with a robotic voice. If you would hear the original voice in the song, you would hear the difference. Batuka and Future have the most auto tune on the album. That's all.

Speaking of repetitive, I often hear songs that are extremely repetitive. Like Roxanne. Same chorus, over and over. Some of these songs are are so bad, I stop everything I’m doing and wonder if the damn song is ever going to end. I don’t understand how people are able to enjoy repetitive songs. So I get it.
But when it comes to Batuka, it’s one time you can make an exception, because that’s the whole point of the song. It’s not repetitive in terms of singing the same chorus over and over, rather it’s story telling in a form of a CHANT. It’s supposed to be like that because that’s the style of batukadeiras, where one lead singer tells a story in short phrases and the rest of the women sing along. I think it’s beautiful, because it’s like the women agree with what the lead singer is telling by singing along with each phrase. So yes, Batuka is more of a chant than a song. That’s why it deserves a pass. Calling it repetitive means you’re missing the whole idea, the whole point of it.I didn't miss anything. Yes, it's a chant, It's beautiful, I understand the message, but it's too long. It's not repetitive in terms of chorus and verses. And I am sure I would have liked it more if I would hear Madonna and not a robot.

I Don't Search I Find (Craig Cs Found Vocal)... I raped the replay button for this one. This song is for me like what Nothing Really Matters was from Ray Of Light. My favourite song from the album and finally released as the last single. Shame it doesn't have a video. And shame it's still not on Spotify. I think it would end on #1 at the end-year-chart of 2020 for me.

Don’t skip Batuka! Let the drums connect you to the earth and put you in a trance!
It's too repetitive, too long and the autotune is more than annoying for me. But I love the ending of the song and the video is brilliant... Almost teary eyes at the end of the video + the message.

I almost still listen to it everyday. I only skip Batuka, Bitch I’m Loca and I Rise.

No Madame X nomination at the Brits.
Don't even expected from the beginning to be nominated for major awards shows.

I so wished a special single release of IDSIF, because it sounds straight from 1992 and it would have been cool to release it on vinyl with extended, 7" or 12" remixes.
-
Thank you for all these lists. Surprised as well about IDSIF. It should deserve more remixes and a video...
-
Why don't they release a video for IDSIF? At least something like Miles Away...
-
-
Great! Mission accomplished! I wonder what are they thinking about this, after giving The artist of the decade to Taylor.
-
Voted. Indeed, it doesn't work with Mozilla or Google Chrome, but it works perfectly on Internet Explorer.
She's on the 2nd place, after Celine. Let's vote!

OMG! This song and its remixes are saving my life, cause I was a little upset on her. If there is a video planned for January, it would be heaven on earth... She should have done a video like Fever. Only red and black images... very 90's dance house

Amen. Madonna has the most pure, emotional, clear and lovely voice. She does not need any vocal enhancing. It was interesting on the Music album but now is just too much and on too many songs on Madame X.
Yesss. Her voice during her ballads era is the best one (1994 - 1998).

I think that's more her obsession, she's got filters on every non-mirwais produced track too.
...to fit the entire album and concept, obviously.

so she won`t work with Mirwais never again
Hope so. I've had enough his vocoder obsession. I want M's pure voice back.

I like it but she really needs some new inspiration in her photoshoots. Shes done similar vibes in the past 3 years.
Indeed! Anyway, I love the cover! And the pic with her “boyfriend” is stunning!

Zero nominations for Bruce Springsteen as well. The Grammies are the new mtv awards Some of the nominations are ridiculous
Barbra is nominated for her Walls album. She is always nominated when she releases something new.

See? Matter of tastes. I'd love to hear Madame X demos, too, especially Medellin and IDSIF.
